Three shops you may still see on older maps: the 7-Eleven at Waterway Point (#01-14) dropped off HealthHub’s lists after December 2024, and we could not confirm that it is still open, so check live. A Cheers once listed at Punggol Plaza does not appear on Cheers’ own site (checked October 2026), so treat it as closed. The 7-Eleven at The Punggol Settlement (3 Punggol Point Road, #01-06) appears on HealthHub’s April 2026 list, drawn up before Punggol Point Park closed on 11 August 2026 for works that run to 31 December 2027. You live along Northshore Drive

Cheers at Northshore Plaza II runs from 7am to 11pm, which covers breakfast runs and most evenings. If you are never sure which Northshore Plaza is which, our Northshore Plaza I or II guide sorts it out.

You work or study at Punggol Coast

Cheers at Punggol Coast Mall suits a weekday lunch break. After 4pm, at weekends and on public holidays, it is shut. FairPrice also has outlets in Punggol Coast Mall, and our supermarkets guide covers them.

You need a few groceries, not just snacks

Try a Prime Supermarket at Blk 108 Punggol Field or Blk 322 Sumang Walk, or one of FairPrice’s smaller neighbourhood shops. For a basket of household basics, a small supermarket is usually the easier stop. Our supermarkets guide lists the FairPrice shops, so we will not repeat them here.

You are already in the car

Shell Punggol at 821 Punggol Road is open 24 hours, and its station page lists a Shell Select shop, a car wash (9am–9pm) and three EV charge points of up to 50 kW. The shop’s own hours are not published, so call 6282 9913 if it matters. FairPrice Xpress at the Esso on 211 Punggol Road is listed as open 24 hours. How to Check a Shop Before a Late Trip

1. Start with the official page. Cheers publishes hours on each store page, and Shell does the same for its station. These are the most reliable times on this page.
2. Treat 7-Eleven times as a guide. They come from third-party listings. Confirm on 7-Eleven’s own store locator, or ask at the counter next time you pass.
3. Check the day as well as the time. Cheers at Punggol Coast Mall closes at weekends and on public holidays. For other shops, our public holidays page explains what usually changes.
4. Use the station pair as your backup. If you are unsure about a block shop, Punggol MRT station has two convenience stores.
5. Do not count on The Punggol Settlement. Punggol Point Park has been closed since 11 August 2026, so do not make a special trip to its 7-Eleven without first confirming that it is open and reachable.

Neighbour’s Tips for Punggol Convenience Stores

• Shop on your way off the train. Cheers and 7-Eleven are both inside Punggol MRT station at 70 Punggol Central, so a late ride home can include the milk run without a detour.
• Do not plan an evening around Punggol Coast Mall’s Cheers. It closes at 4pm and does not open at weekends. People who only visit on Saturdays find the shutters down.
• Use the covered way in at Punggol Coast. The mall sits above Punggol Coast MRT, and a mall guide says Exit 1 leads into the air-conditioned part of Level 1 (check live).
• Old maps can mislead. Shell Punggol opened in 2011 with a 7-Eleven, but Shell and 7-Eleven later ended their partnership, and Shell’s station page lists the shop as Shell Select (checked October 2026).
• Search by block and street, not postal code. Directories disagree on the Sumang Walk 7-Eleven’s postal code. “Blk 218 Sumang Walk” gets you to the right place in any map app.

• Pair it with the market. The Punggol Plaza 7-Eleven is on the ground floor, so you can pick up a forgotten item on the way to or from the market. Our Punggol Plaza guide has the layout.

No. Its official hours are 8am to 4pm, and it is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For evenings, use Punggol MRT station or Cheers at Northshore Plaza II (7am–11pm).

Does Shell Punggol still have a 7-Eleven?

No. It opened in 2011 with a 7-Eleven@Shell shop, but that partnership has ended. Shell’s station page lists a Shell Select shop (checked October 2026). The station is open 24 hours, and the shop does not publish its own hours.

Is there still a Cheers at Punggol Plaza?

Not that we could find. Cheers’ own site lists three Punggol stores (Punggol MRT, Northshore and Punggol Coast Mall) and none at Punggol Plaza. The 7-Eleven at Punggol Plaza, #01-05, is still on HealthHub’s 2026 list.

Why are there no independent minimarts on this list?
