Worksheets, forms, a photo for an application: printing jobs always seem to land on the busiest evening of the week. A little preparation makes them quick.

This page is part of eduKate Punggol’s Essential Information for Punggol, our quick answers and where-to-go lists for everyday life in Punggol. It lists where to print, photocopy and get photos printed in Punggol, how to prepare your files, and where to check passport-photo rules. Our existing guides cover library charges, ICA photo specifications and SIT campus printing in detail, so we link to them rather than repeat them.

Where to Go for Printing in Punggol

Walk-in print shops are scarce in Punggol, and we could only verify a few. We did not find a confirmed print or photocopy shop at Punggol Plaza, Oasis Terraces, Northshore Plaza or Punggol Coast Mall. Some photo businesses are registered at home addresses in Punggol; they are not walk-in shops, so we have left them out.

Which Option Fits Your Job

School worksheets and everyday documents

Go to the library. Save the file as a PDF at home, check the page count, and you will be in and out quickly. Our digital school readiness guide has tips on organising school files and printing for home-based learning.

A passport or IC photo

Read the ICA rules first. Our ICA passport-photo guide sets out ICA’s requirements for photo uploads. The shop listings we found do not say whether their photos meet ICA’s requirements, so show the rules to any shop before you pay.

Photo prints, albums and gifts

Pictureland’s kiosk at Waterway Point lists photo gifts such as canvases, mugs and calendars. If you would rather print at home, Challenger and Harvey Norman sell Instax printers.

A government form

Check first whether you can do it online. Many government services now run on Singpass, with no printing at all. Our guide to Singpass, LifeSG and ServiceSG explains where to start.

University coursework

SIT students and staff can print, photocopy and scan on campus. Our SIT printing guide explains the E6 and W5 stations.

You need a scan, not a print

Many forms now go back by email or upload, so a clear scan may be all you need. Most smartphones have a document scanner built into the camera, notes or files app. Lay the page flat on a plain table near a window, fill the frame, and save it as a PDF. Check that every corner and signature is readable before you send it.

How to Print at Punggol Library Without Fuss

  1. Read the library printing guide. It covers NLB’s A4 charges and the multimedia stations.
  2. Prepare the file at home. Save it as a PDF so the layout does not shift, and note how many pages you need.
  3. Check the time. Go during library hours, 10am–9pm. The Study Zone stays open later, but we could not confirm printing there after the library closes.
  4. Bring your login details. Have your email or cloud password ready if your file is stored online.
  5. Print one page first. Check it before you print the rest.
  6. Log out and tidy up. Sign out of every account on the shared computer, and take every page with you.

What to Prepare

  • Your file as a PDF, on a device or account you can reach from a shared computer.
  • The page count, and whether you need single or double-sided copies.
  • The originals, if you are photocopying documents.
  • For a passport photo: ICA’s requirements, read in advance, ideally on your phone to show the shop.
  • A folder or envelope, so the pages survive the walk home in the rain.

Costs

Library printing charges are set by NLB. Our library printing guide covers the A4 charges, so we have not repeated them here. We could not verify prices at private shops, so ask for a price before any order, especially for photo gifts and large prints.

Neighbour’s Tips for Printing in Punggol

  • Print the day before. The library is closed on public holidays and closes at 5pm on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year’s Eve.
  • Use PDF, always. Word files can reflow on another computer and push a table onto a new page.
  • Protect your ID. If you photocopy an NRIC or passport, check the glass and the tray before you leave.
  • Find Pictureland on B1. Its kiosk is listed at #B1-K21A, Waterway Point (check live).
  • Plan for the school holidays. The year-end break starts on Saturday 21 November 2026. Term 1 of 2027 starts on Monday 4 January for Primary 1 and Tuesday 5 January for Primary 2 to 6. Print book lists and forms early.
  • Keep a digital copy. Photograph any signed form before you hand it in.

If You Need Something Printed Tonight

  • Before 9pm: go to the library at One Punggol.
  • After 9.30pm: we found no confirmed print option in Punggol. Ask whether a scanned or digital copy is accepted instead.
  • A school deadline: email the teacher early and ask whether a PDF is acceptable for now.
