House of White Bee Hoon — a current halal-certified seafront option
Current business information lists House of White Bee Hoon at The Punggol Settlement as a MUIS halal-certified Chinese seafood restaurant. Its current menu positioning includes White Bee Hoon, seafood and crab dishes, with weekend hours extending later than ordinary lunch/dinner periods.

Ponggol Seafood — the name that carries the old Punggol identity
Ponggol Seafood currently operates at The Punggol Settlement and remains closely associated with the old “seafood at Punggol Point” idea. Current listings show lunch and dinner hours on weekdays, with longer continuous operations on weekends.
The point of eating here is partly the setting and continuity of place. The restaurant should still be judged like any restaurant—current menu, price, service and fit—not only nostalgia.
House of Seafood — crab and family-style seafood
Current listings also show House of Seafood at the Settlement, serving Singapore-style seafood and crab-oriented family dining. It belongs to the “destination seafood” layer rather than the quick-meal layer.
Japanese dining and drinks: Izakaya 95
The Settlement is not only seafood. Its current directory includes Izakaya 95, a Japanese small-plate and charcoal-grill concept with beer, whisky, sake and shochu. Current published hours extend to midnight or 1am depending on day.
This makes the Settlement useful for older groups and adults who want the evening to continue after dinner rather than end at mall closing time.
Thai / mookata / late-night formats

Getting there by car
The Settlement’s current official directions tell drivers to use New Punggol Road. The old Punggol Point Road access route has changed, and the development’s directions route motorists through Punggol Way / Northshore Crescent / Northshore Drive toward New Punggol Road.
The development publishes paid parking rates that vary by weekday/weekend and time of day. Check the current official page before assuming old parking prices still apply.
Getting there by public transport
The Settlement’s official site still references Bus 84 from Punggol Interchange, while the northern transport network has continued changing with Punggol Coast MRT and amended bus routes. Current journey planners show short bus connections from the Punggol Coast side as well.
Because bus routing changes more often than the building address, use a live journey planner on the day rather than memorising one permanent route from an old article.
Punggol Point Park is closed — do not build the day around it
NParks currently lists Punggol Point Park closed for upgrading from 11 August 2026 to 31 December 2027. This is the single most important current correction for visitors.
The Settlement itself remains a dining destination, but the classic sequence “park → jetty → dinner” is disrupted during the upgrading period. Plan the meal as the destination or combine it with another currently accessible northern route such as Punggol Coast, Northshore or Coney Island access where open.

How expensive is eating at The Punggol Settlement?
This is generally not the cheapest everyday-meal node in Punggol. You are paying for restaurant-format dining, seafood where relevant, waterfront location and a destination environment.
