Hours checked October 2026 — confirm on the official page before you go: Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic Punggol, Oriental Remedies Clinic Punggol and Eu Yan Sang stores.
Insurer panel lists, as summarised by a third-party directory, also name Thomson Chinese Medicine at Waterway Point and Hock Leong Ann at Sumang Lane (check live). We could not open an official page for either, so confirm the details with your insurer first. Retail tonic halls such as Hock Hua Tonic also appear in partner listings for Waterway Point, Oasis Terraces and Northshore Plaza 1 (check live). Like the Eu Yan Sang store, these are shops, not clinics.
Which TCM Option Fits You
You need an evening or public holiday visit
Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic at Waterway Point keeps the longest verified hours, until 9.30pm every day. Because registration can close early on busy days, arrive well before closing time or book ahead.
You live near Punggol Coast
Oriental Remedies Clinic, right by Punggol Coast MRT, is the closer option. Punggol Coast Mall has several towers and lobbies with different addresses, so use the clinic’s own address, 84 Punggol Way, and head for Lobby C.
You are thinking about TCM for a child
Oriental Remedies lists Paediatric Tuina. Tell the physician your child’s age, weight and any medicines they take. If your child has a high fever, is struggling to breathe or seems very unwell, see a doctor first. Our paediatric clinics page lists where to go.
You only want herbs or tonics
A retail store can sell you products and explain what is on the label. It does not diagnose. If you are pregnant, managing a long-term illness or taking regular medicines, see a registered physician before you start something new.
You hope to claim on insurance
Eu Yan Sang’s clinic page says it is a panel clinic for corporate plans and accepted insurance, but it does not name them. Several insurers publish their own TCM panel lists, so check yours before you book.
How to Choose and Book a TCM Clinic in Punggol
- Decide what you need. A consultation with herbs, acupuncture, tuina or cupping. Not every clinic offers every treatment.
- Check the practitioner. MOH’s Healthcare Professionals Search links to the official TCM Practitioners register. Search by name.
- Ask the price first. Ask about the consultation fee, herbs per day or per pack, and each treatment session.
- Check your cover. Ask your insurer or employer whether the clinic is on the panel and what paperwork a claim needs.
- Book. Eu Yan Sang takes online bookings from its clinic page. Oriental Remedies takes phone and WhatsApp bookings.
- Tell them everything. Mention any medical conditions, pregnancy, and every medicine and supplement you take.
- Agree a plan. Ask how many sessions are suggested and when you will review progress.
What to Bring
- A list of your medicines and supplements, or the boxes themselves.
- Any recent medical reports or test results that relate to the problem.
- Your insurance or corporate medical card.
- Loose, comfortable clothes if you are booked for acupuncture, tuina or cupping.
- For a child, their usual medicines and any allergy information.
Costs, Insurance and Registration
Prices. We could not confirm published fees for either Punggol clinic. Fees can have several parts, such as the consultation, the herbs and each treatment. Ask for the total before you agree to a course of sessions.
Payment schemes. This page does not cover government subsidies or MediSave for TCM. Ask the clinic which payment schemes, insurers and corporate plans it accepts.
Registration. MOH explains that acupuncturists have been registered since 2001 and TCM physicians since 2002. From January 2004, everyone who practises TCM must be registered with the TCM Practitioners Board and hold a valid practising certificate. See MOH’s TCM practitioners page.
Neighbour’s Tips for TCM in Punggol
- Shop on B2, clinic on Level 2. At Waterway Point, Eu Yan Sang’s retail store is at #B2-28 and the clinic is at #02-13 in the West Wing. It is easy to walk into the wrong one.
- Avoid the meal breaks. Eu Yan Sang gives 1–1.30pm and 6–6.30pm as a guide. Arrive just after rather than just before.
- Call on busy days. Registration may close early and some physicians keep different hours. A quick call saves a wasted trip.
- Use Exit 1 at Punggol Coast. Oriental Remedies says it is about two minutes from Punggol Coast MRT Exit 1, at Lobby C.
- Check before the needles. A one-minute search of the register is worth it before acupuncture.
- Keep both sides informed. Tell your GP or pharmacist about herbs you take, and tell your TCM physician about Western medicines. Our pharmacies page lists where to find a pharmacist.
- Keep your receipts. Hold on to every receipt until a claim is settled, and ask your insurer what it needs to see.
