NAMIC Hub@SIT is the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster Hub at Singapore Institute of Technology. Its listed location is W3-01-105, 1 Punggol Coast Road, Singapore 828608, at SIT Punggol Campus.
For additive-manufacturing services or grant enquiries, use the contact form on the official NAMIC Hub@SIT page. The hub supports industry development; its equipment listing is not a public self-service 3D-printer booking system.
Capabilities listed by SIT include reverse engineering and optical scanning, design for additive manufacturing, polymer-to-metal printing and precision machining. Ask whether the team can support your part, material and intended use before assuming a particular machine or process is suitable.

What additive manufacturing means
In simple terms, additive manufacturing builds an object by adding material, often layer by layer. The practical question is whether the resulting part meets its intended requirements, not merely whether a shape can be printed.
For an enquiry, distinguish a display model from a working component. A visual prototype and a part used under load can need very different material choices, checks and acceptance criteria.
Services are wider than printing
NAMIC Hub@SIT lists design consultancy, material development and characterisation, technology co-development and professional development. Its stated focus areas include land transport, marine and offshore, defence and space, and sustainability.
These descriptions help you frame an enquiry, but do not guarantee acceptance of every project. Ask what support is appropriate, what information is needed and whether testing or further design work should precede production.
Prepare a useful technical brief
Describe the part’s purpose, approximate size, current material and the problem you want to solve. State whether your priority is a new geometry, a replacement component, lower weight or an early concept model. These are suggested details, not mandatory form fields.
Ask how to share drawings or scans securely. Before commissioning work, clarify costs, quantities, tolerances, delivery expectations, testing responsibilities and ownership of the design or developed solution.
Access, training and grant questions
The published location identifies the hub; it does not confirm walk-in access, machine rental, school-group admission or a free printing service. Obtain an appointment and arrival instructions from the team.
A grant enquiry is not a grant award. Confirm eligibility and conditions through the appropriate programme before budgeting on support. For a different facility and audience, see our SIT Punggol Makerspace guide.
Independent local guide by eduKatePunggol. Information checked on 14 October 2026. Confirm current arrangements with SIT before registering, commissioning work or visiting.
