SAFRA Punggol Guide 2026 | Facilities, Membership, Splash, Gym & Family Activities

SAFRA Punggol is one of the places that makes Punggol work as a family town rather than only a housing town. At 9 Sentul Crescent, Singapore 828654, the clubhouse combines fitness, family water play, learning/enrichment, games, food, karaoke, interest groups and direct access to the Punggol Waterway environment.

The useful question is not “What facilities does SAFRA Punggol have?” but which parts of the clubhouse are relevant to your household and which require membership, booking or separate fees? SAFRA membership is designed mainly for SAF NSmen, NSFs, regulars and eligible family members, but many merchants and facilities also serve guests or the wider public under their own conditions.

This 2026 guide explains the current Punggol clubhouse by family use case: gym, Splash @ Kidz Amaze, water activities, games, music/KTV, enrichment, student care, food and membership. Check the live SAFRA pages before travelling for a specific programme because promotions, rates and hours change.

Who can join SAFRA?

SAFRA currently states that membership is open to:

  • SAF National Servicemen (NSmen);
  • full-time National Servicemen (NSFs);
  • SAF regulars;
  • Defence Executive Officers under applicable categories;
  • eligible spouses and children through family membership.

Current membership pages list multiple principal categories and family membership for eligible spouses and children. Fees depend on membership category and tenure.

Do not assume every visitor must be a member. Many commercial tenants and some facilities accept guests/public users, while member rates or booking privileges may differ.

EnergyOne Gym

EnergyOne Gym at SAFRA Punggol is the clubhouse’s main fitness anchor. SAFRA’s current EnergyOne information describes resistance and cardio equipment, free weights, changing facilities and personal training.

Current published Punggol hours are 6am–10.30pm daily on the main EnergyOne facility page. SAFRA promotions can occasionally display slightly different campaign-hour formatting, so the current facility page should be used when exact arrival time matters.

SAFRA members can access membership/per-entry options under current terms. Non-member access and promotions vary.

Splash @ Kidz Amaze

Splash @ Kidz Amaze SAFRA Punggol is one of the clubhouse’s defining family facilities: an indoor water-play playground rather than an ordinary swimming pool.

Current SAFRA FAQ hours are:

  • Monday–Friday during ordinary school term: 1pm–7pm;
  • Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 10am–9pm;
  • Monday–Friday during school holidays: 10am–7pm.

Admission is first-come-first-served and subject to capacity under current SAFRA guidance. Swimwear or dry-fit material is required; cotton clothing is not permitted in the pool area. Shower facilities have hot and cold water, and towels are not supplied free.

Splash is not the same thing as a swimming lesson

Water play builds comfort and movement around water, but it should not be confused with structured swimming instruction. If the family’s goal is stroke development or water safety, use an actual swim programme.

Water Activities Facility

SAFRA Punggol currently operates a Water Activities Facility with guided leg-powered kayak experiences on Punggol Waterway through an appointed operator.

Current SAFRA information identifies guided tours such as:

  • River of Life Tour;
  • Freshwater Kayak Fishing.

The programme uses certified instructors / safety personnel and single or double seated kayaks. It is not a casual self-launch facility.

Use Water Sports in Punggol 2026.

Games Room

SAFRA Punggol’s current Games Room operates 10am–11pm daily. SAFRA lists auto tables suitable for games such as mahjong and cards, with booking through SAFRA channels.

SAFRA’s rules explicitly prohibit gambling with money or money’s worth. Children below 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sonic Bowl / gaming

SAFRA Punggol currently houses Sonic Bowl / gaming facilities with late evening hours, including PC/console gaming under the current operator format.

This can be useful for teenagers and friend groups, but it is a commercial recreation facility rather than a school study/gaming programme.

Jewel Music Box

Jewel Music Box at SAFRA Punggol currently operates 1pm–2am daily under published SAFRA information. It is a karaoke/music-entertainment venue with member benefits under current terms.

Families with children should check the current children’s rates and age rules directly with the operator.

Food and dining

Current SAFRA Punggol vendors include family restaurants and casual food choices. Recent SAFRA materials identify names such as:

  • Jack’s Place;
  • Keng Eng Kee Seafood;
  • Pizza Hut;
  • Wingstop;
  • Kopi Korner;
  • Wok In;
  • other rotating current tenants.

Tenant mix and promotions can change; use the current SAFRA Punggol directory when the meal is the reason for travelling.

Student care and learning

SAFRA Punggol has an unusually dense learning/enrichment layer. Current SAFRA materials identify providers such as:

  • Bespoke Learning Centre;
  • EduFirst Learning Centre;
  • Mind Stretcher;
  • Model Math;
  • Yamaha Music School;
  • BazGym Gymnastics School;
  • StepUp Learning & Dance;
  • Taekwondonomics;
  • NurtureStars Preschool.

This makes the clubhouse useful for families coordinating siblings: one child can be in student care or enrichment while another uses a recreation facility.

Use Enrichment Classes in Punggol 2026 and Student Care Centres in Punggol.

Family day at SAFRA Punggol

A realistic family visit should not try to use everything.

  1. Choose one main activity: Splash, water sports, gym or enrichment.
  2. Add one simple meal.
  3. Use the Waterway walk if weather is good.
  4. Stop before younger children become exhausted.

The clubhouse is most useful as a flexible local facility, not a theme park to complete in one day.

SAFRA Punggol for teenagers

  • gym where eligible;
  • gaming / Sonic Bowl;
  • karaoke;
  • fitness/dance/martial arts;
  • food / friend meetup;
  • Waterway / cycling nearby.

Use Things to Do in Punggol for Teenagers.

SAFRA Punggol for adults

  • EnergyOne Gym;
  • water activities;
  • interest groups;
  • games room;
  • dining;
  • karaoke;
  • events / workshops;
  • family coordination around children’s programmes.

SAFRA membership: what it buys

SAFRA’s current membership page describes benefits including:

  • digital SAFRA e-card;
  • clubhouse/facility access;
  • member rates;
  • benefits at more than 1,500 merchant outlets;
  • member promotions and events;
  • family membership options for eligible spouse/children.

Membership does not make every facility free. EnergyOne, Kidz Amaze, games rooms and commercial tenants have their own fees/rates, with member discounts where applicable.

Current membership pricing

SAFRA’s current 2026 principal-membership page lists, for example, a 2-year Ordinary A / eligible Ordinary B membership at S$87.20 including GST, with other membership categories and longer tenures priced differently.

Promotions can change. Use SAFRA’s membership page rather than relying on this amount after 2026.

Do you need membership to visit?

No single rule covers every tenant or facility. Many commercial merchants accept public customers. SAFRA-managed facilities can have member/guest rules and different rates.

Check the specific facility before travelling, especially for Splash, gym, games room and booking-based activities.

Getting there

SAFRA Punggol is at 9 Sentul Crescent, beside the Waterway environment. It is accessible by local Punggol transport and works naturally with cycling/walking routes along the Waterway.

Use a live journey planner for the exact bus/LRT route from your block.

Why the location works

SAFRA Punggol’s strongest feature is not one facility. It is how many household needs can overlap:

  • parent exercises;
  • child attends lesson;
  • sibling uses Splash;
  • family eats;
  • everyone walks/cycles home along Waterway.

That is valuable in a family town because it reduces separate trips.

Continue the Punggol family route

SAFRA Punggol works best as a family coordination hub. Choose the facility you actually need, understand whether membership changes the price/access, and use the Waterway location to make one trip solve more than one part of the family week.

How to plan a SAFRA Punggol visit by household need

Family water play

For households visiting primarily for Splash or water-related activities, check current admission conditions, age/height requirements, session arrangements and what must be booked before leaving home. Build in changing, meals and recovery time rather than treating the attraction as a thirty-minute stop.

Fitness and gym use

A gym visit is a different use case from a family outing. Check membership/access rules, operating hours and whether the person using the facility needs an orientation or specific booking. Consistency matters more than sampling every facility.

Enrichment and student routines

Classes, student care and enrichment can make the clubhouse part of a weekly family schedule. Compare timing with school, travel and homework. An activity that looks convenient on a map can still create a difficult evening if it ends at the wrong point in the household routine.

Food and social use

Restaurants and casual spaces make SAFRA a meeting point as well as an activity venue. For multi-generation families, this can allow one person to attend an activity while another waits or eats nearby. Check the individual merchant’s current hours rather than assuming clubhouse hours apply to every tenant.

Membership versus public access

Do not assume every facility has the same eligibility or pricing. SAFRA membership, guest access, merchant access and programme registration can differ. Decide which facility you intend to use and check that facility’s current terms.

Combine with the Punggol Waterway environment

The Sentul Crescent location makes it possible to combine an indoor activity with walking or cycling nearby. That can turn one booked activity into a broader family day without requiring another major destination.

A simple planning checklist

Before travelling, confirm the exact facility, access eligibility, booking, session time, clothing/equipment, transport and meal plan. For promotions and prices, use SAFRA’s current pages because these are more volatile than the physical description of the clubhouse.
