Bus 381 runs between Punggol Bus Interchange and Punggol Coast Bus Interchange. It serves intermediate stops near Meridian, Coral Edge, Riviera and Oasis LRT stations, as well as stops near SIT and Punggol Coast MRT. If your trip begins and ends at the two MRT stations, the North East Line links them directly.
The bus is most useful when you are starting near one of its intermediate stops or when a stop along the route is closer to your destination. Check the direction and stop code before boarding, particularly if your journey planner shows more than one stop with a similar name.
- At Punggol Bus Interchange, check for service 381 towards Punggol Coast.
- Check intermediate stops against the operator’s list before leaving home.
- For SIT, compare Before SIT Punggol with Punggol Coast Station on the outward route.
- For a trip between the two MRT stations, compare the bus with the direct train.
Where bus 381 goes

The Go-Ahead Singapore route page lists both directions. From Punggol Bus Interchange, the outward route includes a stop named Punggol Station/Waterway Point, followed later by Meridian, Coral Edge, Riviera and Oasis. Near the end it lists Before SIT Punggol and Punggol Coast Station before the interchange.
Check the five-digit code as well as the stop name. For example, the outward Punggol Station/Waterway Point stop is 65251 and Before SIT Punggol is 65709. Use the return direction’s own stop list when coming back.
When the bus makes sense

If you are already at NE17 and want to go straight to NE18, take the train when that works for your trip. Service 381 follows a longer route through the neighbourhoods. It can be convenient when you are near an intermediate stop and can avoid travelling back to the MRT first.
If you start near Riviera, for example, look up the stop listed for the Punggol Coast direction. Then compare your final walk from the bus stop with the walk from the MRT exit. Plan from where you are actually standing to where you want to arrive.
Check your last stop near Punggol Coast
Choose the stop based on your destination. An SIT building, the mall and the bus interchange can have different convenient approaches. Check the block or shop first, then pick the stop with a suitable walking route.
