- Toys”R”Us is upstairs now. It moved from Basement 1 to Level 2 in 2022. Don Don Donki took the basement space, so older maps will send you to the wrong shop.
- The bookshop is in the basement. Times Bookstores on Level 2 has gone. For books at Waterway Point, head to POPULAR on B1, West Wing.
- Cheap party favours have moved too. Shoppers report that Daiso at Waterway Point has closed. The nearest Daiso shops are listed at Punggol Coast Mall and Northshore Plaza II (check live).
- Return books on your way. The library’s bookdrop is open 24 hours, so a late-evening walk past One Punggol can clear the overdue pile.
- Plan around public holidays. The library is closed on public holidays, which is exactly when children have time to read. Borrow extra the day before.
- Let the child carry the money. Paying for their own small toy teaches more about prices than any lecture.
If It’s Late or Something Goes Wrong
- Forgot the present: we found no late-night toy shop in Punggol. Toys”R”Us is listed until 10pm. After that, a handmade card promising a library trip together is a lovely gift.
