SAFRAPoints for Punggol Members | Earning, Expiry and Missing Points

SAFRAPoints reward eligible spending by SAFRA members at participating merchants and clubs. SAFRA’s programme page lists one point per eligible dollar spent, with 100 points worth $2 and double points during the member’s birthday month.

The SAFRAPoints FAQ says points earned from January to November expire on 31 December that year; December-earned points expire on 31 December the following year. Check your account before planning a redemption.

For missing points, the official programme page asks members to email safrapoints@safra.sg with receipt or documentary proof within 14 days of the transaction. Keep the receipt rather than waiting until a year-end balance check.

Confirm participation before paying

A merchant being located inside SAFRA Punggol is not enough to establish that every transaction earns points. Check the current participating-merchant list and the conditions for the purchase you intend to make.

The programme lists exclusions including carpark fees, discounted-voucher purchases, deposits and fines. Read the complete exclusions on the official page rather than treating all clubhouse spending as eligible.

Keep a small transaction record

As a practical routine, keep the receipt until you have checked that the eligible transaction was recorded. Note the outlet, date and payment if you need to explain a discrepancy.

Send only the information needed for the claim. Do not include passwords or unrelated payment details. An enquiry is a request to investigate, not a guarantee that the claim will be accepted.

Plan around the actual expiry

A useful year-end check is to review the points you can use, the rewards currently offered and the time needed to obtain them. Do not wait until the final evening if a reward requires a separate fulfilment process.

Choose a reward you expect to use. Spending more simply to generate points can cost more than the reward is worth. Treat points as a benefit attached to a suitable purchase, not a reason to buy something unnecessary.

Keep points and issued vouchers separate

Points in an account and a voucher already issued are different things. Check the redemption conditions before confirming a choice and the voucher’s own expiry once it is issued.

Use our SAFRA Punggol guide for clubhouse orientation. For account or rewards questions, follow SAFRA’s official instructions; this guide does not promise a particular balance, reward or promotion.
