The Energy Efficiency Technology Centre (EETC) at SIT Punggol supports industrial energy efficiency through SME assessments, consultancy and professional training. Its listed address is E6-09-09, 1 Punggol Coast Road, Singapore 828608; service enquiries go to EETC@singaporetech.edu.sg.
SIT’s Energy Efficiency Training Facility (EETF) opened at Punggol Campus on 9 February 2026. It provides controlled, hands-on learning with industrial systems, rather than requiring trainees to experiment during a factory’s normal production.
For an energy assessment, ask EETC about your company’s needs. For a course, check the current training listing and admission requirements. A centre address is not confirmation of public walk-in laboratory access; arrange any visit with the team first.

What EETC does
The official EETC page describes support for SMEs, industry collaboration and the Energy Efficiency Upskilling Programme. These are different enquiry routes: a company seeking an assessment does not necessarily need to enrol its entire team in a course.
For your first message, describe the operational problem clearly. For example, explain whether you want to understand an unexplained bill increase, investigate equipment performance, or develop staff skills. These are suggested enquiry details, not eligibility rules.
What the training facility adds
SIT’s February 2026 facility announcement lists systems such as pumps, compressed air, motors, ventilation and boilers, alongside energy monitoring. Practical learning can therefore connect measurements with equipment behaviour.
Ask which course uses the systems relevant to your work. Do not assume that one registration includes every topic, a campus tour, professional certification or unrestricted equipment use.
Prepare an assessment enquiry
A useful starting brief names the business, site and main process, then explains the question you need answered. Offer to provide suitable operating information after the team confirms the scope and how information should be shared.
Request written clarification of fees, deliverables, timing and any funding-related requirements before committing. The general description of low-cost assessments is not a personalised quotation or a promise of grant approval.
Check dates before travelling
EETC’s published course schedule includes tentative dates and warns that they may change. Check the live listing rather than treating an earlier course announcement as an available place.
Once a meeting or course is confirmed, ask for the exact room and arrival instructions. Use our SIT Punggol Campus guide for wider campus orientation; keep the confirmed host instructions as your final route.
Independent local guide by eduKatePunggol. Information checked on 14 October 2026. Confirm current arrangements with SIT before registering, commissioning work or visiting.
