The Nautilus @ Punggol launched on 26 March 2009, with applications running to 8 April. The BTO project offered 519 homes, comprising 413 four-room and 106 five-room flats.
Its launch information placed the estate at the junction of Punggol East and Punggol Field, served by Riviera and Coral Edge LRT stations. These details distinguish it from town-centre developments such as Punggol Regalia.
For readers searching The Nautilus Punggol history, the important early label was Standard flats. The March 2009 exercise was a housing sales launch, not the estate’s occupation date.

The contemporary Punggol Plus archive preserves a project information sheet naming The Nautilus as Punggol East C24A and giving the application window and flat mix.
The same information sheet identifies Punggol Plaza and nearby schools as part of the project’s setting.
The flat counts add to 519. Some contemporary news coverage rounded this to about 520; the project sheet provides the more precise total.
A housing launch explains a place through the homes offered and the amenities available or anticipated around it. That makes the document useful for understanding what the neighbourhood meant to applicants at the time.
The historical distinction between Standard and premium projects should not be turned into a claim about how every resident feels about their home today.
Old application arrangements and launch prices are not current buying instructions. This account uses them only to identify the exercise’s place in Punggol’s development.
Later completion, lease and key-collection dates require separate evidence. The verified starting point here is the March 2009 launch.
