Singapore citizens travelling overseas from Punggol can use MFA eRegister to record their itinerary and contact details. MFA describes it as a voluntary, free service for Singaporeans travelling or residing overseas.
The purpose of MFA travel registration is to help the ministry contact you during an overseas emergency or crisis. It is not a visa application, an airline booking or a promise that a destination is safe.
For a Punggol family holiday, prepare the travel dates, destinations and contact details before starting. The official FAQ allows additional cities through Add Itinerary and says separate trips need separate eRegistrations.

Prepare the actual itinerary
Use your confirmed journey details rather than a rough idea of where you might go. Keep the destination cities and dates together in one record.
If several people are travelling, check who is included in the record. Do not assume that a group booking with an airline automatically creates a government travel registration.

Start from the MFA portal
The eRegister FAQ explains Singpass login with Myinfo pre-filling personal particulars. Review the information and complete the travel details requested by the service.
Use the official portal yourself and keep credentials private. The family member helping organise a trip can prepare an itinerary without needing another person’s login.

Distinguish one journey from another
For a multi-city trip, use the itinerary options in the service. Do not combine unrelated holidays into one continuous record merely because the destinations are similar.
Keep a short note of the trip covered by your registration. If plans change, check the portal for the appropriate way to keep the record aligned with the journey you are making.

Keep help contacts separately
MFA’s FAQ advises carrying the contact details of Singapore’s embassies and consulates at your destination. Keep these somewhere you can access when travelling.
Also leave your itinerary and contact details with a trusted person in Singapore. A useful travel folder contains practical contacts as well as bookings; eRegister is one part of that preparation.
