OCBC Punggol is the bank’s announced innovation hub at 98 Punggol Way in Punggol Digital District. OCBC’s project announcement gives a first-quarter 2027 completion target; that target is not confirmation of a public opening or an operating branch.
The announced investment of about $500 million covers the innovation hub and a strategic partnership with Singapore Institute of Technology. The planned hub occupies approximately 430,000 square feet across eight floors and is intended to house up to 4,000 employees.
As at this guide’s 12 October 2026 check, the cited OCBC materials do not establish that the hub is open to visitors. For OCBC Punggol jobs, SIT opportunities or a meeting, use the relevant official application or invitation rather than treating the development announcement as a booking page.

Target date versus confirmed opening
OCBC’s original project announcement sets out the location and proposed scale. Its 2024 annual-report commentary also refers to completion in the first quarter of 2027.
A completion target should be checked again before making plans. Building completion, staff occupation, an invitation-only launch and public access are different events; evidence of one does not automatically establish the others.
What the SIT partnership includes
The announced partnership includes an Analytics and Innovation Lab and scholarships, linking fintech learning and talent development with SIT. These are education and collaboration arrangements, not a promise that every student receives funding or employment.
Students should check the current scholarship or programme requirements through the responsible institution. Ask about eligibility, the application period and selection process instead of relying on a general news announcement as an offer.
Understand the physical connections
The project announcement describes a red bridge connection to SIT’s Chua Thian Poh Discovery Hub on the Collaboration Loop. Physical proximity supports the idea of collaboration, but it does not make all connected rooms publicly accessible.
For a campus or district outing, follow signed public routes and any access restrictions. Our Collaboration Loop access guide explains why a connected development still requires attention to visitor boundaries.
Choose your next step
Jobseekers can start with OCBC’s official careers website. Check the location on each role and confirm the workplace during recruitment; a planned staff capacity is not a count of new job openings.
If you have a meeting, follow your host’s confirmed address and reception instructions. For ordinary banking, consult official branch information. For students considering the surrounding university, continue with our SIT Punggol guide.
