You cannot rely on your child’s previous AEIS Candidates Portal account for a new year’s application. SEAB says a new account is needed for each year’s AEIS, S-AEIS, SPERS-Sec or SPE.
SEAB also says accounts created for past admission exercises are deleted after each exercise ends. For Punggol parents applying again, an old login that no longer works may therefore reflect the account’s lifecycle.
Start with the current exercise’s official account-creation instructions. A new account still needs the relevant application to be completed; previous participation does not carry the child automatically into another exercise.

Which details should I prepare?
CHAPTER 1 OF 5
Why does the previous account not work?
The SEAB account-reuse FAQ explains the new-account requirement and deletion of past exercise accounts.
Check which year your saved login belongs to. Avoid repeatedly attempting password recovery for an account from a completed exercise when the current instructions require a new one.
CHAPTER 2 OF 5
Where should I begin this time?
Open the current official exercise page and follow its account-creation guidance. Confirm the year and exercise before entering the child’s particulars.
For AEIS, use the SEAB application procedures. Check the live registration period rather than assuming account creation is available all year.
CHAPTER 3 OF 5
Which details should I prepare?
Have the child’s current identity documents and an accessible email account ready. Compare names and other particulars carefully before submitting.
Keep track of who will receive the official correspondence. A parent who rarely opens the chosen inbox may miss requests that need a response.
CHAPTER 4 OF 5
Does a new account complete registration?
No. SEAB’s AEIS procedure separates account creation from applying during the registration period, uploading documents and paying the required fees.
Read the application record afterwards and retain the relevant confirmation. Being able to log in is useful, but it does not establish that the admission application is complete or approved.
CHAPTER 5 OF 5
What records should I retain?
Keep copies of useful exercise correspondence and submitted documents in your own secure folder. Do not depend on an old portal account as permanent document storage.
If the current portal fails, use the official technical-support channel and describe the exercise year and error. Keep the problem separate from questions about admission eligibility.
Information checked on 11 October 2026. Follow the current official instructions for your child’s exercise year and individual application.
