For a faulty street light along a Punggol road, LTA lists 1800-225-5582 as its local customer-service contact for faulty street lights, traffic lights and LTA emergency matters. Its online feedback form is another reporting route.
Identify the type of Punggol lighting problem before making the report. A road street light, an HDB corridor lamp and lighting inside a private development have different contexts. For municipal issues where the responsible body is unclear, LTA also points residents to the OneService app.
Give the exact road or block, the side of the route, a nearby landmark and the time you noticed the fault. Photograph it only from a safe place. A clear location helps the team find the relevant light without requiring you to stand near traffic or touch equipment.

Locate the light precisely
If a pole identifier is visible from your normal walking position, include it. Otherwise describe the nearest block, bus stop or junction and which side of the road you mean.
For example, a report can say that the lamp beside a specific block’s road-facing entrance was dark at a stated time. Replace broad descriptions such as ‘near Northshore’ with the closest verifiable landmark.

Describe the observed fault
Say whether one lamp is out, several adjacent lamps appear dark or a light is flickering. Include when you first noticed it and whether you saw the same issue again.
Do not diagnose an electrical fault from appearance. A photograph of the area and a plain description give the maintenance team information it can assess.

Choose the reporting route
Use LTA’s listed channels for road street-light reports. For a corridor or common-area issue, identify the block and level and use the responsible estate channel or OneService.
If there is immediate danger, use the appropriate urgent contact rather than relying on a routine online case. Keep away from damaged equipment and describe the visible concern when calling.

Track the follow-up
LTA’s online feedback status service uses the feedback number from its acknowledgement email and the submitting email address. Keep these details so you can follow up on the same report.
If the fault persists, add the new observation and date to your follow-up. For the evening walk meanwhile, choose a route with adequate visibility and keep children close through any darker section.
