For Punggol parents who have registered a newborn’s birth, follow ICA’s official notification to download the digital birth certificate. Keep the certificate itself, not only the message saying registration was successful.
If you lose the downloaded digital birth certificate, ICA says parents can download it again through its e-Service within the 90-day period from the registration date. Its official retrieval FAQ links to that service.
If more than 90 days have passed, ICA’s published help guidance directs parents to ICA_Birth_RBD@ica.gov.sg for assistance. This Punggol guide does not promise an automatic re-download after that window or a particular fee.

Use the official retrieval route
Start from the ICA guidance or the official registration notification. Avoid a third-party site offering to retrieve the certificate for you when you can follow the government route directly.
Check that the file has actually downloaded to your device. Opening a document in a browser is not always the same as keeping a copy you can find later.

Make the saved copy usable
Choose a clear filename and a secure folder you can recognise later. Open the saved document once to confirm that it is readable and belongs to the correct child.
Consider a secure backup that your household can recover if the original device is lost. Keep access limited to those who need it; the certificate contains personal information.

If the file seems missing
Check your downloads folder and any location where you normally save official documents. Search by the filename or the date you remember downloading it before assuming it has disappeared.
If necessary, use the linked ICA e-Service again while within the stated retrieval period. A family member’s screenshot of the notification is not a substitute for the certificate file.

If the retrieval period has passed
Use the ICA FAQ for downloads after 90 days to confirm the assistance contact. Explain the retrieval problem plainly and follow ICA’s instructions.
Keep the enquiry and reply with your administrative records. Do not send the document or identity information to an unverified contact claiming to provide a quicker replacement.
