Climate Vouchers can be used for specified eligible appliances and fittings, not every electrical product sold in Punggol. The current programme lists 12 product categories, including qualifying refrigerators, air-conditioners, washing machines, DC fans, LED lights and induction stoves.
Check the exact model against the official requirements: examples include 5-tick air-conditioners, refrigerators rated 3 ticks or above, and 4-tick washing machines. A retailer selling eligible products may also stock models that do not qualify.
For a Punggol household comparing replacements, use a three-part check: eligible model, participating retailer and practical fit at home. Ask for the model number and a written total covering the purchase and any separately charged delivery or installation.

Use the current product list
The official eligible-products page links to each category’s requirements. Its current list also includes qualifying clothes dryers, water heaters, taps, shower fittings and water closets.
Open the relevant category instead of relying on an old social-media list. Record the exact model being discussed so a similar-looking item is not substituted accidentally in your notes.

Check lighting, fans and cooking appliances
The list includes DC-motor fans, excluding those with non-LED lights, and qualifying LED lights rated 2 ticks or above. Eligible induction stoves use induction cooking rather than producing a flame.
Before buying, compare the intended installation with your existing fittings or cooking setup. Ask the supplier to identify any additional work or accessories rather than assuming the advertised product price covers everything.

Measure before ordering
For a fridge or washing machine, note the available width, height and depth. Check door movement and the access route from the lift lobby into your home.
A useful family checklist separates product eligibility from physical fit. Both matter: a qualifying appliance can still be inconvenient if it blocks a door or requires an unplanned change to the space.

Plan removal of the old appliance
The programme states that a retailer delivering regulated products such as refrigerators, air-conditioners and washing machines must remove an unwanted appliance of the same type free upon request.
Make the request when arranging delivery and confirm what access is needed. For other e-waste, use the separate Punggol e-waste disposal guide rather than assuming every item belongs in the same collection bin.
