U-Save for eligible Punggol HDB households is credited directly to the household’s utilities account with SP Services. It is not a shopping voucher requiring a QR-code claim, and no sign-up is required to receive the rebate.
Check your utilities records and SP notification for the credit. Unused U-Save rolls forward to offset later utilities bills and cannot be cashed out. A rebate may reduce what you need to pay without changing the amount of electricity or water your home used.
If you buy electricity through an Open Electricity Market retailer, Govbenefits explains that U-Save first offsets non-electricity charges on the SP bill, including water, gas and refuse collection. Any remaining rebate is then used against the electricity retailer’s bill.

Read the bill in two parts
Separate the household’s consumption charges from rebates and other account adjustments. A lower payable amount does not automatically mean lower usage.
Keep the previous bill beside the current one if you are comparing months. Look at the billing period as well as the final figure so a credit is not mistaken for a sudden change in household habits.

U-Save is for eligible Singaporean HDB households, with conditions involving citizenship, rental arrangements and property ownership. Living in Punggol alone does not guarantee entitlement.
Use the current Govbenefits rules for your situation. If the account does not show what you expected, gather the account details and billing month before contacting SP Services through its official channel.

The current FY2026 programme includes regular and additional U-Save disbursements. October 2026 and January 2027 include additional rebates alongside the regular credits.
Check the official flat-type schedule rather than applying an ‘up to’ headline to every household. Keep financial-year totals separate from an individual quarter’s credit.

Describe whether you are querying eligibility, a missing credit or how a balance has been applied. These questions are easier to investigate than a general statement that the bill looks wrong.
For households with a separate electricity retailer, keep both relevant statements available. Do not cancel or change payment arrangements based only on an assumed rebate; confirm the actual amount due first.
