SEAB does not replace lost examination certificates or result slips. Punggol families needing proof of past PSLE results should use the official digitised-results route instead. Eligible Singpass holders can retrieve records through MySkillsFuture; SEAB provides a request route for other cases.
Check the examination year and whose record is needed before starting. A parent retrieving their own PSLE record for a child’s Primary 1 registration is different from retrieving the child’s results. SEAB says a copy of digitised PSLE results may be used when a parent has misplaced the certificate required for P1 registration.
Use the original digital file and confirm the receiving organisation’s submission requirements. This guide explains how to choose the right route, organise the request and avoid mistaking a screenshot or an altered document for a verifiable results record.

CHAPTER 1 OF 5
Identify the record and purpose
Write down the candidate’s name, examination level and year, plus the purpose for which proof is requested. Check whether the organisation needs examination results, evidence of a former school or another document.
Read SEAB’s past-results page. It distinguishes retrieval through MySkillsFuture from a request to SEAB and lists the examination years currently available.
Do not assume a just-released result is already in the past-years archive. Check the current table and ask the school or SEAB about the appropriate route if the required year is not listed.
CHAPTER 2 OF 5
Try the applicable digital retrieval route
For supported past results, SEAB directs Singpass holders to MySkillsFuture. Follow the official guide linked from SEAB rather than a search advertisement offering certificate replacement.
Check the candidate’s details and examination year when you retrieve the record. Save the original file in a location you can find again and keep the file format intact.
A parent should not assume that signing in to their own account retrieves a child’s record. If the candidate cannot use the stated route, consult the official request instructions rather than use another person’s login.
CHAPTER 3 OF 5
Use SEAB’s request route when needed
SEAB provides a request route for non-Singpass holders and candidates who sat the examination using a different identification number. Follow its current instructions for identification and examination details.
Prepare the information before submitting, check the year and school name, and send supporting identification only through the official channel. Keep the submission reference.
The page announces a $16 administrative charge from 1 January 2027 for SEAB retrieval requests per examination and year. This differs from the free MySkillsFuture route. Check the current fee when making a request, especially after that date.
CHAPTER 4 OF 5
Share the unmodified record
Ask the receiving organisation which digital submission method it accepts. Use the original file or the official sharing method indicated in the retrieval guide, preserving the record’s verification features.
Avoid editing the document to add explanatory text or remove part of the results. Put any necessary explanation in a separate message. If the record seems wrong, seek clarification from SEAB.
Keep a note of where and when you submitted it. If an organisation requests another format, ask precisely what is missing before making a new retrieval request.
CHAPTER 5 OF 5
Separate lost documents from incorrect particulars
A lost certificate enquiry is different from a correction to personal particulars on a newly issued document. If the problem is an incorrect name or identification detail, contact the school or SEAB promptly about that process.
Keep paper originals securely if you still have them, and retain digital records without changing the files. For a child, note which adult holds the documents so they do not become scattered between homes or folders.
Our school information checking guide helps organise admission enquiries. Start with the document actually requested, then use the official results route that fits the candidate and examination year.
Information checked on 10 October 2026. Follow current official and school instructions for your child’s individual arrangements.
