To book a study seat at Punggol Library, use the “Reserve Study Seat Area” link on NLB’s official library page or its seat-booking service. Choose the Punggol library option, the intended area and an available date and time, then follow the current account and confirmation instructions.
Check the selected area carefully before confirming. The Level 3 Study Zone operates separately from the main library and is accessed through Lift Lobby B of One Punggol. NLB lists this zone as open 9am–10pm daily, including public holidays.
Save the confirmation, seat details, start time and end time. Read the live booking rules for arrival, permitted duration and any check-in requirement. A library opening time or a seat shown in search results does not itself give you a confirmed reservation.

Start from the official booking link
Open NLB’s Punggol Library page and choose its study-seat link, or go to NLB Seat Booking. Using the operator’s route helps you avoid outdated screenshots or instructions for another library.
Select the library and area before choosing your preferred time. If the requested period is unavailable, consider a shorter suitable session or another date. Do not arrange travel around a slot that you have not confirmed.
Follow the system’s current sign-in and booking instructions. This guide does not impose a fixed advance window or maximum duration because those conditions should come from the booking service you are using.
Check the confirmation
Before leaving home, review the booking date, area, seat and full time period. Save the details where you can retrieve them easily. A calendar reminder can help you notice when a session is about to begin.
If the booking does not appear to be confirmed, revisit your account or seek NLB assistance. Avoid assuming that a partially completed selection has been reserved.
If you can no longer attend, use the service’s available cancellation route. Releasing an unused booking gives another visitor a chance to use the space.
Arrive at the correct area
Allow time to find the lobby and study area, particularly on a first visit. Follow the confirmation and posted instructions for locating your seat and any arrival procedure.
If your booked seat is occupied, check the identifier and time before seeking staff assistance. A calm explanation with the confirmation is more useful than assuming the other visitor knows your booking.
Keep your belongings within your space and follow rules for breaks, absences and the end of the booking. Leaving possessions behind does not create an entitlement beyond the booked period.
Plan work that fits the slot
Bring one clear task and the resources it needs. For example, a student might complete a short practice set, check the answers and redo the questions that went wrong. A specific plan prevents the first half hour disappearing into deciding what to study.
Choose work suited to a shared quiet environment. Save an extended spoken discussion or online meeting for an appropriate location. Pack headphones where needed and keep sound from disturbing others.
End with a small record of progress: what was completed, what remains unclear and what to do next. This helps carry the learning home.
Plan the journey and a backup

Keep a simple backup if a suitable slot is unavailable. That might be an appropriate home study period or another verified study location. The useful outcome is completing the planned work, without turning a particular seat into the only way to begin.
