SIT Punggol Campus is at 1 Punggol Coast Road, Singapore 828608. For visitors searching for the nearest MRT to Singapore Institute of Technology, SIT directs passengers to Punggol Coast MRT and Exit 1 for direct campus access. Confirm the building and room in your invitation before travelling.
Teck Lee LRT is another campus approach: SIT identifies a covered linkway through Campus Boulevard. Its campus directions also list buses 34 and 117/117M at Punggol Coast Bus Interchange, and 84W and 84G from Punggol Bus Interchange. Check current service information for the day of your journey.
Getting to SIT and finding your room are separate steps. Use the university’s Campus Wayfinder for the final approach, then follow signs and your host’s instructions. SIT encourages public transport because the surrounding Punggol Digital District is designed for car-lite travel and parking is limited.

Choose the right station and destination
Punggol MRT and Punggol Coast MRT are different stations. Read the full station name when sharing directions, booking a ride or planning a meeting. A message that says only ‘Punggol station’ leaves an avoidable uncertainty.
SIT’s Campus Locations page is the official starting point for the address and transport routes above. Travel details were checked on 10 October 2026.
For an appointment, start with the host’s building rather than a generic campus pin. If an invitation gives a block, level and room, keep all three together. The postcode gets you to the campus area; it does not identify your seminar room.
From the station to the correct block
Open the official Campus Wayfinder before you arrive. Find the destination label, compare it with your invitation and identify the approach from your chosen transport point.
Once on site, match the physical signs to the destination. If the map and invitation appear inconsistent, ask your host rather than continuing through unfamiliar academic spaces.

The E6 photograph is a useful example of why block labels matter. It identifies that entrance, but it is not a universal entrance for every visitor or class.
Plan a calm first journey
Leave room for one wrong turn on a first visit. University campuses contain multiple destinations, and a newcomer may need to read a sign, find a lift or ask for help.
Save the invitation, host’s contact details and a screenshot of the destination while you have a connection. If your phone battery is low, write down the block and room rather than relying entirely on a map.
For parents accompanying a prospective student, agree where you will reunite if you attend different sessions. Choose a named place and a time rather than assuming you will see one another at the main entrance.
Taxi arrivals and driving
Ask the host which permitted drop-off point best serves the appointment. Enter the campus address, then confirm the specific destination with the driver before the last turn.
If driving, check current public-parking signs, tariffs and the walking route from the carpark. This article does not promise a campus lot or quote an unverified charge.
Do not use a neighbouring retail destination as a substitute for a campus address without checking the final walk. That extra stage matters if you carry equipment, have a mobility need or arrive close to a scheduled start.
Know what your invitation allows
Finding an entrance does not itself give access to every room. Follow visitor, registration and security arrangements for your session.
An open-house visit, a booked professional course and a meeting with a staff member may have different check-in processes. Read the specific instructions instead of transferring an old event’s arrangements to a new visit.
For SITLEARN participants, SIT’s course travel page notes that selected sessions can take place at external partners’ premises. The course confirmation should decide where you go.
