- Can the student complete one final item without help?

The exit check prevents a smooth lesson from being mistaken for durable learning.
The Anatomy Changes by Subject
English, Mathematics and Science should not use identical ninety-minute designs. The same 3-pax structure should serve different kinds of thinking.

Science
- observation separated from inference;
- mechanisms explained rather than replaced by keywords;
- diagrams, tables and experiments interpreted;

- scientific language refined after understanding is visible.
What Should Not Consume Most of the 90 Minutes
- tutor monologue;
- silent full-paper completion;
- copying model answers;
- administrative marking that can happen outside live class;
- repeating easy work after fluency is already stable;
- unfocused “any questions?” time.
Live tutor time is expensive. It should be concentrated on interactions that genuinely benefit from live diagnosis.

The Quiet Student Problem
A quiet student can appear compliant while understanding very little. Small groups should create protected ways for every learner to make thinking visible: written first attempts, short explanations, prediction cards, individual diagrams and silent retests.
Participation is not measured only by who talks most.
The Fast Student Problem
A fast student should not spend the lesson waiting. Once routine work is stable, extension can increase reasoning depth rather than worksheet volume: compare methods, remove chapter cues, justify a claim, find a counterexample, design the next experiment or solve a changed condition.
The Struggling Student Problem
A struggling learner should not automatically receive easier work forever. First find the missing dependency. Repair it at the lowest useful level, then reconnect the learner to the shared standard with appropriately reduced prompts.
