Read one idea, try one question, and explain why the answer makes sense. This Science in Punggol series gives Primary 3–6 learners and families 20 short guides to concepts, investigations and clear explanations.
Each article includes a worked question and a common mistake to check. Use the series alongside school teaching and notes. It is a focused reading collection rather than a complete syllabus or a set of official examination questions.
Choose a reading route
- Build scientific thinking: Start with asking better questions, then read observation and explanation and fair tests.
- Work on a difficult answer: Try tables and graphs or a study routine that explains why.
- Explore a concept: Choose energy, water, materials or forces from the directory below. Read the explanation before trying its worked question.

Use the guides with the right scope
Core teaching examples focus on observation, fair tests, data, energy, electricity, heat, materials, changes of state, forces and systems. Filtration, formal rates, force-meter units, rockets and orbits appear as enrichment where used. A connection to a science idea does not make every extension examinable.
For PSLE preparation, follow the current school syllabus and assessment guidance. The articles use original teaching questions and hypothetical data; they do not claim to reproduce official PSLE items.
