If you plan to print a school project at Punggol Regional Library, prepare a final PDF at home and check it at A4 size before you leave. Punggol Library is inside One Punggol, 1 Punggol Drive, next to Sam Kee LRT. Check NLB’s current multimedia-station and printing arrangements for the day you want to visit.
The main decision is what you actually need to hand in. A teacher may ask for a complete report, a worksheet or just the pages you will use during a presentation. Compare your file with those instructions before paying for a printout. This saves a second trip if a cover page, bibliography or diagram is missing.
- Export a separate final PDF from the editable project.
- Check the page order, margins and labels at A4 size.
- Make sure charts still make sense in black and white if that is what you intend to print.
- Confirm current station access, charges and payment before printing.

Find the part you need

Open the exported PDF as a reader would. Look at the first page, the last page and every page with a diagram or table. Check that a heading has not been left on a page by itself and that a table does not run off the right edge. If you added page numbers, compare them with the contents list. Save the final file under a clear name so it is easy to tell apart from an earlier draft.
A coloured chart can become difficult to read in black and white. Add labels, different line styles or symbols so the reader can distinguish the categories without colour. For a map, check that the legend is on the same page if the reader will need it. Zooming in on a phone can hide how small a label will look on the printed page.

Find out how the library’s multimedia and print-release stations work before depending on them for a deadline. Check what file access and payment arrangements apply. Bring the final document in a way that fits the current system and that you can access yourself. If you need an account to retrieve it, make sure you can sign in without someone else present.
Allow time to find the station and check the print settings. If you need only selected pages, record their PDF page numbers, which may differ from the numbers printed on the pages. If a file contains private information, collect every page and sign out of any shared device after use.

If the available workflow lets you print a single test page, choose the page most likely to cause a problem. A dense diagram or wide table makes a useful test. Check that the page orientation, size and contrast meet your needs before printing the rest. Count the sheets after collection and put them in the order you need for submission.
If you find a problem, decide whether you can correct it in the editable original and export again. For a school deadline, leave time to do that or to use another suitable printing service.

Which station should I use?
Sam Kee LRT is next to One Punggol. Use the building directory to find the library and follow its current signs for printing.
Should I bring a PDF or the editable original?
A reviewed PDF is useful for preserving the page layout. Keep the editable original separately in case something needs correcting. Check which files the current printing workflow accepts.
Where can I check the library’s location and visiting details?
