If your gym pass QR code will not scan at ActiveSG Punggol, reopen the pass in MyActiveSG+ and confirm it is the right one for the visit. ActiveSG also lists eligible identification cards that can be scanned for gym entry after you have a valid pass. Ask staff to check your admission if the code or ID fails.
Check the pass before trying another payment. A scanning problem can happen even when the purchase went through. Keep the original pass or receipt where you can show it to staff.
- Open the pass in MyActiveSG+.
- Confirm the pass is for the right person and visit.
- Check whether you have an eligible ID.
- Ask staff to check before paying again.
Start with the pass screen

Open the pass itself and check the name, validity and type. If you were looking at a receipt or confirmation, go back to the pass and find its QR code. Move aside if other visitors are waiting so you can check the details without rushing.
Ask about scanning an eligible ID

ActiveSG’s gym entry FAQ lists a pass QR code or an eligible ID, such as an NRIC, driver’s licence, PAssion card, Pioneer Generation card or student pass. If you are unsure whether the document you have works for your visit, ask gym staff.
Check the pass conditions before buying again
If the screen says the pass is outside its valid period, check its dates and hours. An off-peak pass may be unsuitable for a particular visit even if it appears in your account. If the pass should be valid and the scanner still rejects it, ask staff to check.
