Early READ Fiesta is scheduled at Punggol Library on Saturday, 21 November 2026, from 10am to 5pm. NLB’s event welcomes children aged zero to six and their older siblings, with reading and discovery activities.
Check the official Early READ Fiesta page for the Punggol programme. Some sessions may require registration; walk-ins depend on seat availability. The overall event hours do not guarantee admission to a particular session.
For Fiesta Adventure gift redemption, NLB requires completion of the steps and evidence that four books were borrowed that day, shown through NLB Mobile or a physical loan receipt. Gifts and redemption remain subject to the published terms and available stocks.

Choose a programme before planning the day
The campaign includes storytelling and hands-on activities. Open the Punggol-specific schedule rather than importing a time or room from the Woodlands, Central or Jurong stops.
Build the outing around one activity that suits the child. A younger reader may enjoy a short visit with one discovery and some browsing; there is no need to remain for the entire event simply because it runs through the day.
Separate a visit from a session booking
Read the chosen session’s live listing for age guidance, venue and registration instructions. Keep any confirmation where you can retrieve it, and check again for changes before travelling.
If the programme you want is unavailable, look for another suitable activity rather than assuming walk-in entry is guaranteed. For a family with siblings, check the requirements for each attending child and accompanying adult instead of treating one booking as covering everyone.
Borrow books the family actually wants
If you choose to take part in the borrowing activity, let each book have a reason to come home. A favourite subject, a familiar author or an appealing illustration is a good starting point.
Keep loan responsibilities separate from gift collection. Note the due dates, decide who will handle returns and retain the evidence needed for the event. A reading celebration works best when the books continue to be enjoyed afterwards.
Use the library guide for the rest of the visit
Our Punggol Library guide provides wider orientation. The photograph here shows the building, not an event layout; use NLB’s current instructions to locate the programme you have chosen.
As a suggested follow-up, ask what the child noticed and choose one related reading idea for home. Treat this guide as planning information checked before the event, not a report that it has already happened.
