NLB Borrow-n-Deliver lets Punggol readers order available library items for home delivery. The published charge is $8.72 including GST per order of up to four items.
NLB lists weekday delivery from 9am to 6pm, with arrival in about a week excluding weekends and public holidays. This is an estimate, not a next-day delivery promise.
Use the official service guide to order through the catalogue. Check your membership, loan quota and unpaid charges first. Delivery does not turn borrowed books into purchases.

Choose available items
Choose available public-library items; titles already on loan and age-restricted audio-visual materials are excluded.
Before ordering, compare the edition and format with what you actually need. For a class text or a time-sensitive project, consider a second reading option rather than relying entirely on a delivery estimate.
Read the fulfilment choice carefully
For three- or four-item orders, NLB offers complete or partial fulfilment. Partial fulfilment requires at least two retrieved items and still incurs the full delivery fee. Orders of one or two require every item to be retrieved.
Decide whether a smaller delivered selection would still be useful before accepting partial fulfilment. A flat fee can have different value depending on how many of the chosen books matter to your reading plan.
Track the order and its payment status
Payment is authorised on ordering and charged when ready for delivery. Orders cannot be amended or cancelled. Track them under myLibrary’s Delivery Services.
Check the final selection, address and contact details before completing the order. Save the confirmation and review the recorded status rather than interpreting a payment-authorisation screen alone as proof of delivery.
Return items by the recorded due date
The published loan period is 21 days from delivery. Check NLB Mobile for exact due dates and use an eligible library bookdrop for returns; the service does not include collection of your returns.
Build the return trip into your plan. Our Punggol bookdrop guide covers local return access, while the Punggol Library guide helps if you decide to browse in person instead.
