SIT Undergraduate Concession Card | Apply, Report Loss and Extend Eligibility

Full-time matriculated SIT undergraduates can apply for an Undergraduate Concession Card. For students travelling to SIT Punggol, the card enables purchase of monthly concession passes for basic bus and train travel; holding the card alone is not an unlimited-travel pass.

SIT directs students to the online application route or a SimplyGo Ticketing Service Centre. Its guidance recommends calling 6883 5048 to check eligibility status before visiting a centre.

For a lost card, SIT lists the same SimplyGo hotline for a loss report. If your course of study is extended, a separate request to SIT’s Registrar is needed to extend concessionary eligibility; replacing a lost card and extending eligibility are different tasks.

Use the student-specific application route

Start with SIT’s official Undergraduate Concession Card page. It links to SimplyGo for the application, required documents, fees and ticketing-centre information. For operator requirements, use SimplyGo’s Undergraduate Concession Card guide.

Prepare for the task you actually need. A new card application, an eligibility check and pass purchase are related but separate steps. Check the live instructions before travelling so you know which documents and actions apply to you.

Report loss through the official channel

The SIT page says to provide your personal ID number through SimplyGo’s official loss-report process. Follow the linked replacement guidance for the next steps.

Keep sensitive details within the official channel; a public comment on a local guide is not a loss report. Record the instructions you receive and ask how to manage travel while replacement is being arranged, rather than assuming the same payment arrangement continues automatically.

Course-extension requests go to the Registrar

SIT asks for an extension request to Registrar@SingaporeTech.edu.sg at least 10 working days before eligibility expires, including your card name, expected completion date or period, and reason for extending studies.

The published processing estimate is 7–10 working days, followed by email notification to activate the extension. Treat an estimate as planning information, not a guarantee of completion by a particular journey date.

Plan your campus commute

Check whether your card and any chosen pass are ready before the first journey you intend to make. This guide does not publish a new fare table; use the current operator information when comparing travel costs.

For campus orientation, continue to our SIT Punggol Campus guide. Keep transport-card enquiries with SimplyGo and study-extension requests with the Registrar so the right office can handle each issue.
