AM Family Capital Foundation S.E.E.D.-Digital is a named learning space within SIT Punggol’s Learning Hub. SIT expands the name as Space to Explore, Engage and Develop — Digital competencies, with a purpose of developing digital literacy, skills and collaboration.
S.E.E.D.-Digital is not the same as SIT’s Entrepreneurship Education and Development programme, also abbreviated SEED. When searching for a class, activity or location, use the full name so you reach the correct university information.
SIT’s March 2024 naming report explains the space’s background. It does not provide a current public course schedule, visitor opening hours or a general room-booking route; confirm a specific activity through its organiser.

What the digital-space name means
The report describes digital skills development among students and academic staff. “Explore, Engage and Develop” identifies a learning purpose rather than a particular qualification or certificate.
For example, someone might want to improve a digital workflow or understand a tool more critically. Those are useful learning goals to bring to an organiser, but the name alone does not establish which workshops are currently offered.
Read the naming history correctly
SIT says an endowed gift of S$500,000 supported the naming. An interim seminar room at Dover was named before the permanent Punggol naming, with the ceremony held on 25 January 2024.
That historical sequence explains why older photographs or references mention Dover. Do not use the interim room’s location as the destination for a current Punggol activity. Follow the latest event or university instructions.
Separate digital learning from entrepreneurship
Our SIT entrepreneurship minor and SEED guide covers the separate entrepreneurship pathway. The shared abbreviation should not cause fees, credits or eligibility from one initiative to be copied to the other.
When making an enquiry, state whether you want a digital-competency activity, a named room or entrepreneurship learning. A clear question is more useful than asking only about “SEED at SIT”.
Confirm the activity you want
Look for an actual listing with an organiser, date, audience and registration instructions. If you have an invitation, retain its block, level and room details rather than relying only on a campus-wide address.
For arrival planning, see our SIT Punggol transport guide. Confirm the session before making a trip specifically for this space.
