Setting up Auto Top-up for Punggol bus, MRT or LRT journeys? SimplyGo’s app guide starts with selecting the intended card, choosing Auto Top-up and selecting the top-up amount. Review the payment method before completing the prompts.
SimplyGo publishes separate instructions for SimplyGo EZ-Link/concession cards and other EZ-Link/concession cards, including differences in card scanning. Follow the guide for your actual card rather than assuming every setup screen is the same.
After applying, check Auto Top-up status for that card. For a Punggol household managing several cards, confirm which card draws from which payment method and review the arrangement after a bank-card replacement. Setup, activation and a successful top-up are separate things to verify.

Choose the intended card and amount
Select the card in your own account and review its identifier. Choose an available amount that suits how you manage your household travel budget.
Do not activate arrangements for several cards without understanding their separate deductions. A family’s occasional-use spare card may need a different approach from a daily commuter’s card.
Follow the card-specific guide
The official guide below describes application steps and links to instructions for payment changes and status checks. Complete any verification or scanning requested.
Use the official app and your own authorised payment details. Do not share credentials with someone offering to configure automatic payments over chat.
Check status after applying
SimplyGo’s status instructions say to select the card and tap Auto Top-up to view its status. Retain the result so you know whether the application completed.
If the status is unclear, consult SimplyGo before relying on the arrangement for an early-morning journey. Keep a valid travel alternative while resolving the issue.
Review changes and cancellation separately
SimplyGo provides guides for changing payment methods, updating payment-card expiry and deactivating Auto Top-up. Choose the operation that matches your intended change.
Deleting a payment method and terminating a card’s arrangement are different actions. Check the outcome after any change rather than assuming one screen has completed every step.
