Need to check road closures before a Punggol drive? Use LTA’s Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works page and read the affected location, closure date and hours together. Open the linked map where provided instead of relying on a headline alone.
A closure notice may concern one slip road, direction or overnight period rather than an entire expressway. Match it to the route and time you actually plan to use. A Punggol journey can be affected by a notice well outside Punggol.
Keep an alternative route ready and recheck before departure. Follow current signs and traffic directions on the road; an old screenshot or a navigation suggestion is not permission to enter a closed section.

Identify the exact affected section
Read the location wording, including the approach direction, exit or junction. Compare it with the path your journey uses.
Do not treat an exit closure as a closure of every lane through the area. Equally, an unaffected expressway mainline does not guarantee your intended exit is available.
Read dates and overnight hours carefully
A notice can list a single night, a date range or recurring periods. Check whether the stated times cross midnight and which dates the notice covers.
Search-result dates and the date a webpage was retrieved are different from the work schedule. Use the notice’s actual dates when deciding relevance.
Inspect the official diversion map
LTA’s closure page provides alternative-route information and maps for various notices. Read the applicable map before making a special trip.
Check how the alternative connects to your destination, not merely how it passes the closed section. Avoid making an improvised turn or U-turn where it is not permitted.
Recheck on the day
Review the official notice again before departure and allow additional time. If taking a bus, check the operator separately for any service or stop diversion.
A road notice does not establish a bus diversion by itself. When travelling, follow current on-site controls even if earlier information differs.
