Punggol Lodge received an HDB Construction Award in 2011. A contemporary account identifies the estate at the 603 and 604 block groups on Punggol Road and names Teambuild Construction Pte Ltd as contractor.
The later Teambuild awards register also lists Punggol Lodge under a 2012 BCA Construction Quality Award. This gives the estate two distinct recognition milestones across consecutive years.
Punggol Lodge should not be confused with Treelodge @ Punggol, which appeared separately in the same 2011 HDB awards list. The similar names refer to different developments and construction teams.

A contemporary reproduction of HDB’s announcement says the awards were presented on 2 November 2011. Although the webpage heading refers to 3 November, the event date in its text is 2 November.
The account lists Punggol Lodge as a housing Construction Award recipient. It describes that award as recognising project management, construction quality, public relations and innovation.
This is broader than a statement about a building’s appearance. It records the contractor’s delivery work within the public-housing programme.
The Teambuild register records both the 2011 HDB milestone and a 2012 BCA Construction Quality Award for Punggol Lodge.
The second entry is reported here using the register’s wording. It should not be silently renamed a design award or merged with the earlier HDB recognition.
For anyone assembling a Punggol housing timeline, the practical method is simple: identify the development first, then attach each dated milestone to it. Similar estate names and later webpage publication dates can otherwise blur the sequence.
These sources establish award history, not every household’s occupation history. Key collection and lease commencement need their own records.
