For technical errors on LifeSG while submitting a preschool subsidy application, ECDA directs parents to helpdesk@life.gov.sg. Describe the error and the step where it occurs.
For Punggol parents, a failed page or error message is not the same as a subsidy rejection. Check whether you actually received submission confirmation before assuming the application went through.
Tell the preschool if the problem is preventing completion near your invitation deadline. Asking for technical help does not automatically extend the deadline or submit the form for you.
In this guide
CHAPTER 1 OF 4
Describe what happened
Note the date, approximate time and exact error message. As practical troubleshooting information, record whether you were using the website or app and what action triggered the error.
Say whether you can log in and whether the child’s application is visible. This is more useful than reporting only that “LifeSG does not work”.
CHAPTER 2 OF 4
Contact the correct helpdesk
Follow ECDA’s LifeSG technical-support instruction. Give a concise account of the problem.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes or unrelated sensitive documents. If a screenshot is needed, remove unnecessary personal information.
CHAPTER 3 OF 4
Separate technical and application questions
The helpdesk route concerns technical errors. Questions about an approved amount, an incorrect document or a centre-generated invitation may require a different response.
Explain the issue accurately to avoid repeatedly forwarding the same vague request between staff and support.
CHAPTER 4 OF 4
Confirm the eventual submission
After following support advice, check for the relevant confirmation. Keep the support reply and confirmation for your records.
If it remains unclear whether submission succeeded, ask for clarification before creating another application. Keep the centre informed about any unresolved deadline problem.
Information checked on 12 October 2026. Follow the current official instructions and the guidance given for your child’s application.
