One Punggol’s police self-help kiosk was launched on 29 September 2022, according to the Singapore Police Force. It offered police report lodging and other police e-services from the ServiceSG Centre’s digital lobby at 1 Punggol Drive.
The kiosk’s history belongs to the development of public-service access at One Punggol. It provided a way to use digital police services without visiting a Neighbourhood Police Centre or Neighbourhood Police Post, including for residents without internet access.
The launch date is different from the date of SPF’s announcement, 12 October 2022. This article follows that distinction and the surrounding September relocation of HDB’s Punggol Branch, which helps explain the hub’s growing public-service role.

SPF’s announcement covered two deployments: Our Tampines Hub on 1 August 2022 and One Punggol on 29 September 2022. The dates should not be swapped between the two centres.
The Punggol kiosk used a touch-screen interface. ServiceSG staff could help people use it during the centre’s announced opening hours.

HDB’s 11 August 2022 relocation announcement stated that its Punggol Branch would move from 80 Punggol Field to One Punggol and commence operations there on 1 September 2022.
The announcement placed the branch within the ServiceSG Centre, alongside services from more than 20 government agencies. HDB also described digital self-help facilities and staff assistance.
Together, the September branch move and police kiosk launch document the gradual addition of services. A community hub’s functions can begin on different dates even when they share an address.

Historical interpretation: The kiosk illustrates how a physical public-service location could support digital access. Its significance lies in the combination of a nearby terminal and help using it, rather than in the screen alone.
It was a service-access milestone, not the founding of Punggol Neighbourhood Police Centre. Keeping those institutions distinct prevents a digital-lobby launch from being mistaken for the opening of a police station.
For a One Punggol timeline, record the branch move, kiosk launch and announcement separately. This preserves the sequence in which facilities became available and the later dates when agencies documented them.
