To estimate preschool subsidies in Punggol, ECDA directs parents to LifeSG Preschool Search. Log in with Singpass to view information on estimated fees after subsidies.
You can also consult ECDA’s infant and childcare subsidy tables using your Household Income (HHI) or applicable Per Capita Income (PCI). Use the estimate to plan your preschool budget.
Household and personal expenses are not deducted in assessing subsidy eligibility. An estimate helps you compare options; confirm your application outcome and the payable fees with the preschool before relying on a final amount.

CHAPTER 1 OF 4
Start with the official search
Open LifeSG Preschool Search and use the signed-in route described in ECDA’s estimate guidance.
Keep a short record of the centres and programmes you are comparing. Note when you checked the information so you can revisit it before enrolment.
CHAPTER 2 OF 4
Check the income basis
ECDA’s guidance includes bonuses, commissions, overtime, allowances, cash rewards and employee CPF contributions in salaried gross income.
Use the income basis requested by the official tool or table. Your monthly spending budget and the income assessed for subsidies answer different questions.
CHAPTER 3 OF 4
Compare the same programme
When asking centres about costs, specify your child’s age group, intended programme and hours. Ask whether the quoted amount is before or after assistance.
Keep estimated programme fees separate from other charges the centre identifies. This makes a family comparison easier without assuming every payment is covered by assistance.
CHAPTER 4 OF 4
Confirm before setting your budget
Ask the preschool to explain the approved deductions and the amount due for the relevant month. Save both the estimate and the later outcome for reference.
Our guide to programme fees in application outcomes explains why that displayed fee is before subsidy or KiFAS.
Information checked on 12 October 2026. Follow the current official instructions and the guidance given for your child’s application.
