SIT Punggol Campus and Punggol Digital District parking use published car rates of $1.09 per 30 minutes on weekdays from 6am to 5.59pm, and $2.73 per entry for the evening period. Weekend and public holiday daytime parking is also $2.73 per entry. The important detail is that charges accumulate when a stay crosses charging periods.
For the PDD carpark, the district’s directions identify an entrance along Punggol Way near Towers 80, 82 and 84. Its published taxi and private hire drop-off is at 90 Punggol Way. Ask your host for the exact building and arrival point before setting a navigation destination.
Cars have a published 15-minute grace period; motorcycles are listed at $1.09 per entry with no grace period. For a simpler campus visit, SIT directs MRT passengers to Punggol Coast station Exit 1. Check the entrance tariff board on arrival, especially if your visit runs across 6pm.

Read the car parking periods
The table below summarises the car tariff shown by both SIT and the PDD operator. Amounts include GST. These are time periods, so an evening rate should not be read as a promise that an entire afternoon-and-evening visit costs one flat amount.
Before a long visit, note your expected departure time as well as your arrival time. A meeting that starts late in the afternoon can finish under a different charging period. Keep the carpark’s displayed conditions as the final reference.
| Day | Time | Car rate |
|---|---|---|
| Monday–Friday | 6am–5.59pm | $1.09 per 30 minutes |
| Monday–Friday | 6pm–5.59am | $2.73 per entry |
| Saturday, Sunday and public holiday | 6am–5.59pm | $2.73 per entry |
| Saturday, Sunday and public holiday | 6pm–5.59am | $2.73 per entry |
What happens when you cross 6pm?
PDD gives a clear example: a car entering on Sunday at 5pm and leaving at 6.30pm is charged $5.46. That comprises $2.73 for the daytime period and another $2.73 for the evening period.
For budgeting, treat a time boundary as something to check separately. Avoid estimating a charge solely from the number of hours parked. A per-entry period and a timed weekday period work differently.
If you are collecting someone after an event, agree on a meeting time before entering. Allow for the walk from the venue, but do not arrange a rushed collection simply to chase a lower parking bill.
Choose the correct entrance and meeting point
Use the building name, tower or campus block in your message to the driver. “SIT” or “PDD” covers more ground than a single doorway. Send the host’s directions with the booking confirmation so the whole group uses the same arrival point.
After parking, photograph the bay and nearest lift-lobby sign. Save a screenshot of the destination before walking away from the car. This is especially helpful when several people split up for food, a meeting or a campus event.
A taxi drop-off instruction serves a different purpose from a carpark entrance. If someone has limited walking tolerance, ask the host which permitted arrival point offers the most suitable route to the room.
Would MRT or LRT be easier?
SIT’s campus guidance recommends public transport in this car-lite district. Punggol Coast MRT Exit 1 is its direct campus approach; Teck Lee LRT connects on foot through a covered linkway and Campus Boulevard.
For a first visit, compare the full trip: the journey, finding a parking space, and walking to the actual room. Rail can be convenient when the destination is close to the station, while a car may suit a group carrying equipment.
If your group arrives by different modes, choose a named lobby as the meeting point. Do not make the first person to arrive wait beside a vehicle entrance.
Check before your visit
Confirm the date, building, arrival time and expected finish. If you are attending a booked event, ask whether the organiser has separate instructions for visitors, deliveries or accessible arrival.
Use the official PDD arrival and parking page and SIT campus guidance for current details. For the walking route, see our SIT MRT, LRT and block guide.
