For SIT email, account-access and software-licence enquiries, contact the SIT IT Helpdesk on 6592 8511 or email ITHelpdesk@SingaporeTech.edu.sg. SIT’s undergraduate matriculation contact page identifies this as the relevant support team.
If you have forgotten your SIT password, use the university’s official self-service portal, which offers password reset and password-change functions. Follow the instructions shown there; if the process fails, contact the Helpdesk with the details it requests.
The self-service page publishes support hours of Monday–Friday 8.30am–6pm, excluding weekends and public holidays. SIT Punggol students dealing with login problems should save the error message and explain which university service is affected when requesting help.

Identify the affected service
Before contacting support, note whether the problem affects email, a learning platform, a student portal or a particular application. Write down when it started and whether it happens on more than one device.
This helps distinguish a single application problem from a broader account issue. Describe what you expected to happen and what actually appeared after you tried to sign in.
Use the university password route
Open the linked self-service page directly and select the function that fits your situation. Changing a known password and resetting a forgotten one are different actions.
Complete only the steps the official page asks for. If an instruction is unclear or the portal returns an error, stop guessing and include that message in your support enquiry.
Prepare a useful Helpdesk enquiry
The self-service page asks for your full name as shown on NRIC or FIN and your staff ID or matriculation number. Send the requested identifiers to the official university support channel.
Include the service name, approximate time, device or browser and exact error text. A screenshot can help, but keep passwords and verification codes out of it. Say which steps you already tried.
Send non-technical questions to the right office
SIT’s contact directory routes matriculation enquiries to Matriculation@SingaporeTech.edu.sg and billing or GIRO enquiries to StudentFinance@SingaporeTech.edu.sg. Use the office responsible for the underlying task when access itself is working.
For example, an inaccessible payment screen and a question about the amount billed require different explanations. State both issues clearly if you need assistance from more than one office.
Explain any time-sensitive impact
If access affects a submission or another deadline, tell the Helpdesk the relevant time and inform the academic or administrative team responsible for that deadline. Keep the support reference and your original enquiry.
