If you need to change a passport collection appointment while planning your journey from Punggol, use the ICA e-Service linked from its official appointment-change FAQ. ICA says changes may be made at least three working days before the existing appointment.
For a Punggol passport-collection plan that clashes with school, work or caregiving, check the timing requirement as soon as the conflict appears. Do not assume that changing an entry in your personal calendar changes the ICA booking.
After rescheduling, save and check the new booking details. If the appointment is too close to change through the published route, or has already been missed, read the relevant official instructions instead of assuming the same rescheduling rules apply.

Find the existing confirmation
Open the booking record and identify the current date, time and collection location. Decide what needs changing before entering the official service.
If you are coordinating several family members, keep each person’s booking distinct. One changed appointment does not mean the rest of the household’s arrangements have changed too.

Check the advance requirement
Use the three-working-day requirement in ICA’s FAQ, not a simple count of three calendar days. If you are unsure whether you are within the permitted timing, check the official service or ask ICA.
Choose a replacement appointment that you can realistically attend. Include travel, work handover and school pickup in that decision so the new booking does not reproduce the same conflict.

Verify the new booking
Follow the service through to its confirmation and review the details returned. Keep the new confirmation and replace the old reminder only after you know the change is complete.
Share the updated date and location with anyone helping with the journey. Label the old confirmation as superseded in your own notes so it is not mistaken for the active appointment.

If you have missed a SingPost appointment
ICA has a separate missed-SingPost-appointment FAQ. It describes a limited collection period at the same outlet; consult that guidance and the collection service for your situation.
Do not turn an advance-change rule into a promise about late collection. Keep the missed date and original location ready when asking for help, and confirm the next permitted step before making another trip.
