If you hold a Singapore Identity Card and move into a Punggol home, report your residential-address change to ICA within 28 days of moving. ICA’s guidance applies to IC holders, including Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. The deadline concerns moving into the residence, so do not leave the task until every box is unpacked.
Use the change-of-address e-Service linked from ICA’s official website and sign in with Singpass. The process includes an application, a PIN mailer sent to the new address and online verification. Successful applicants receive an address sticker for the back of the IC.
An ICA address update is a separate task from arranging utilities, redirecting mail or changing a shopping-app delivery address. Keep a household checklist and track each process to completion. This Punggol guide covers IC holders; people with other immigration or work passes should follow the requirements for their own pass.

Prepare the exact residential address
As practical preparation, check the block, street, unit and postal code against your new home’s documents. Keep the moving-in date handy. A wrong unit number can create difficulty receiving the verification mail.
Use one accurate address record for the household’s move administration. Copying from a confirmed record is easier than repeatedly typing a long address while managing deliveries and appointments.

Complete the application and verification
ICA’s process requires the main applicant to verify the PIN received at the new address. Do not mark the task finished merely because the first online submission is complete. Follow the e-Service instructions through the verification stage.
Check that you can access the new letterbox and include its key in the moving-day essentials. Put the verification mail with your administration documents rather than leaving it among unpacked household papers.

Track each adult in a group application
ICA permits an application for yourself and up to four sub-applicants. Sub-applicants receive a consent request and must consent through the e-Service within five days. Ask each person to complete their own required step.
A practical household list should show who has submitted, who needs to consent and whose process is complete. One person’s successful application does not establish that everyone else has completed theirs.

Check status if the process stalls
ICA provides an application-status function in the same e-Service and a contact route for people unable to update online. Use those official channels if you are unsure whether verification or consent has been completed.
Keep the application reference and describe which stage is causing difficulty. Avoid starting multiple uncertain submissions simply because you cannot immediately locate a confirmation.

ICA says Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident children who have not been issued ICs do not need this address update. School records, private accounts and delivery instructions are separate household checks; do not assume this exemption settles those matters.
Review banks, subscriptions, employers and other services you use, and confirm their own update procedures. Keep mail redirection and address notification as separate entries so neither is mistaken for the other.
