Parents in Punggol who do not qualify for Singpass can access the preschool LifeSG form using their passport number, email address and application ID. ECDA gives non-FIN holders as an example of this route.
Without Singpass pre-filling, you will need to complete the form manually. Have the details requested by the actual form ready and check them carefully before submission.
This guidance concerns people who do not qualify for Singpass. It should not be treated as a general workaround for a forgotten Singpass password or temporary login problem.
CHAPTER 1 OF 4
Confirm the right access route
Read ECDA’s guidance for applicants who do not qualify for Singpass. It specifies passport number, email and application ID.
If you are unsure whether this route applies, explain your circumstances to the preschool. Do not create a new application merely to try a different login.
CHAPTER 2 OF 4
Find the application details
ECDA says your passport number should have been requested during preschool enrolment for logging in. Check your invitation and the details you supplied to the centre.
If you cannot locate the application ID, ask the preschool to help identify the correct invitation. Keep the ID private; do not post identity information in public comments.
CHAPTER 3 OF 4
Check manual entries carefully
Because pre-filling is unavailable, compare each requested entry with the relevant record. Check names, identity details and contact information before submitting.
Follow the fields in your own form. The alternative login method does not itself determine subsidy eligibility or which household information your application needs.
CHAPTER 4 OF 4
Do not miss the email deadline
The LifeSG submission instructions say a form missed by its email deadline is cancelled; the centre must generate a new one.
Contact the preschool early if access prevents completion. Keep a short record of the problem and any error message so staff can help without repeatedly asking you to start again.
Information checked on 11 October 2026. Follow ECDA’s current instructions and the guidance given for your child’s application.
