If you lose an item on Punggol MRT, Punggol Coast MRT or Punggol LRT, contact SBS Transit’s Lost & Found service and explain where and when you last had it. The operator publishes 6383 7211 for lost-property assistance during bus and train operating hours.
SBS Transit also provides an online Lost Articles Report. For a Punggol rail journey, prepare the travel date, approximate time, station or route, direction and a distinctive item description. Report what you know accurately; do not invent a train number or precise location to fill a gap in your memory.
If the item may have been left on a bus, in a mall or in a booked car, identify that operator or venue separately. An item lost during a Punggol outing is not automatically a Punggol MRT lost-property case. The last place you definitely saw it is the best starting point.

Reconstruct the journey while it is fresh
Write down the sequence: where you boarded, where you changed services, where you alighted and when you noticed the item was missing. Mark the last confirmed sighting separately from your guess about where it fell.
A useful account might be: “I had the bag when I boarded the North East Line, changed at Punggol to the LRT, and noticed it missing after leaving the destination station.” This helps explain the uncertainty without pretending to know the exact vehicle.

Give details that distinguish your item
Describe colour, size, brand where known and a distinctive feature. “Small navy backpack with a yellow zip tag” is more useful than “school bag”. Include identifying details privately through the operator’s channel.
Keep a photograph, purchase record or serial number available if it could help establish ownership. Do not post identity-document numbers, addresses or sensitive contents in a public appeal. The description should help locate the item without exposing unnecessary personal information.

Open the official Lost Articles Report and follow the relevant fields shown for your case. Its initial location choices include Bus, Rail and Other. Provide a contact method you can actually access while the lost item is unavailable.
Save any acknowledgement or reference you receive, along with the details submitted. If you later remember a better time or location, provide that update through the operator’s channel and refer to the existing report where possible. A report does not guarantee that an item has been recovered.

Check the bus operator before filing. SBS Transit’s form notes that a service missing from its service-number list is not operated by SBS Transit. Do not assume all buses using a Punggol interchange belong to the rail operator.
For a mall, shop, taxi or private-hire trip, use the relevant venue or booking service’s lost-property channel. If the location is uncertain, contact the plausible places with a clear account of the journey rather than describing each possibility as a confirmed loss location.

Collection needs confirmation
Before travelling to collect an item, obtain confirmation that it has been found, where it is held, when collection is possible and what ownership evidence is required. Do not assume the item will be waiting at Punggol station simply because that is where you reported it.
If someone is collecting on your behalf, ask the operator what authorisation they need. Follow the instructions provided for your case. This guide does not promise a collection venue, holding period or recovery time.

Tell station staff or the relevant venue’s staff where you found it. Avoid opening private contents merely to investigate the owner. If an unattended item appears suspicious, alert staff rather than handling it.
For your next journey, check the seat and immediate area before alighting, and pause for a belongings check after a transfer. With children, give each person a simple responsibility: one bag, one bottle or one item to confirm. It is a small habit that can make a busy Punggol journey easier.
