DigitalAccess@Home helps eligible lower-income Punggol households obtain subsidised home broadband and laptops or tablets. For families struggling to provide internet access for SLS homework, start with the official eligibility checker before committing to a new device or broadband contract.
Current criteria include living in an HDB flat and having at least one Singapore citizen in the household. Income limits depend on household circumstances, including whether a primary school student or person with disabilities lives at home. A child attending secondary school alone does not establish eligibility for the higher income limits.
Use the Digital Access Checker, then follow the official application instructions. Applications can be submitted through Singpass. Tell the school separately if your child cannot complete online learning while the household waits for an outcome.

CHAPTER 1 OF 5
Check the current eligibility criteria
The published general limits are monthly gross household income of $1,900 or below, or per capita income of $650 or below. Where the household includes a primary school student or person with disabilities, the limits are $3,400 or $900 respectively. Income is assessed using the average over the past 12 months.
The official school information page also retains an older provision for applications before 31 March 2025. That historical provision should not be used to assess a new application. Confirm your circumstances through the current checker.
CHAPTER 2 OF 5
Prepare for the application
Before starting, write down who lives in the household and gather the income information requested by the application. Check that you can use your own Singpass and receive follow-up communications.
Use the official DigitalAccess@Home application service. Follow its document requirements rather than assuming a school financial assistance approval automatically completes this separate application.
CHAPTER 3 OF 5
Explain the household’s learning needs
Make a practical list of the problem: no home connection, an unreliable connection, no suitable computer, or several children sharing one device. Include the times when siblings need to work online together.
This list helps you assess available options. It does not guarantee that a particular device, package or installation date will be offered. Check the current scheme terms before arranging purchases.
CHAPTER 4 OF 5
Get help if the form is difficult
The published support route includes SG Digital community hubs for help with form filling or Singpass login. DigitalAccess@Home enquiries can also be directed to 6377 3800 or digitalaccess@imda.gov.sg.
If your question concerns previous subsidised broadband or devices, explain what assistance the household already received. Ask how it affects the new application rather than submitting a second request without clarification.
CHAPTER 5 OF 5
Keep schoolwork moving while you wait
Tell the form teacher which lessons your child cannot access and whether the difficulty is temporary or ongoing. Ask what interim arrangements the school can offer; do not assume that an application outcome will arrive before the next homework deadline.
After access is available, try one complete homework routine: sign in, open the lesson, complete a task and submit it. A successful internet connection alone does not confirm that the child’s school accounts and learning tools are working.
Information checked on 11 October 2026. Follow the current official and school instructions for your child’s individual arrangements.
