If your child’s Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) results are not ready for AEIS Primary or S-AEIS Primary registration, SEAB says you cannot submit them later. Punggol parents need the results during the application, so taking the English test before the deadline is only part of the preparation.
SEAB says the same results may be considered for the next exercise if the CEQ test was taken within 12 months before the application’s submission month. You must still check the relevant qualification, score and age eligibility for that exercise.
Start by checking when the examination provider will issue the statement of results. Compare that date with the official application window before making further admission plans. This guide explains the document timing problem; it does not assume that a late result creates an extension.
In this guide
Can I upload the results later?
Which CEQ document should I prepare?
Could the results be used next time?
CHAPTER 1 OF 5
Can I upload the results later?
The SEAB answer on late CEQ results explicitly says no. Treat the statement of results as a document that must be ready when applying.
Keep the provider’s result-release message together with your child’s examination details. This helps you establish the actual availability date rather than estimating from the test date.
CHAPTER 2 OF 5
Which CEQ document should I prepare?
For the 2026 AEIS Primary application, SEAB’s application instructions request the relevant CEQ statement of results and say the Cambridge English certificate is unnecessary.
Check the child’s identifying details and make a clear upload copy. A booking confirmation or a receipt tells you about a test booking; it does not show an English result.
CHAPTER 3 OF 5
Could the results be used next time?
Check the test date against the next application month using SEAB’s 12-month rule. Then read the next exercise’s full eligibility instructions before deciding whether to apply.
For a child approaching an admission age limit, write down the date of birth and proposed school level first. A usable English result alone does not settle the admission route.
CHAPTER 4 OF 5
How should I plan an English test?
Ask the examination provider about test availability, result-release timing and how the statement will be accessed. Leave time to resolve document problems before the application closes.
Keep a small admission calendar: test date, expected results, application opening and closing, and the date you will recheck the official guidance. Avoid relying on another family’s previous-year timetable.
CHAPTER 5 OF 5
What should our family do now?
If results are already delayed, use the official SEAB enquiry channel for your specific circumstances. Explain the exercise, child’s intended level and result-release date without assuming an exception.
Meanwhile, continue steady English and Mathematics learning and review alternative schooling arrangements if necessary. A clear next step helps a child maintain a routine while the family resolves admission timing.
