Did you know? Knowing a Business term and using it to advise a particular business are different tasks. A student may define cash flow or market research accurately yet write a case-study answer that ignores the company’s situation. Business tuition can help connect the concept, case evidence and the decision being asked about.
Try one marked question. Ask your child to identify the business’s objective, select a relevant fact from the case and explain how it affects the proposed choice. If the answer could fit any company, return to the evidence. If the evidence is understood but the concept is uncertain, revise that concept first.
Bring the case, attempted response and teacher feedback to a prospective tutor. Confirm the course: SEAB lists 2027 G3 Business K344 for candidates from schools approved to offer it. General entrepreneurship enrichment, Principles of Accounts and SEC Business preparation have different scopes.

Why is a generic answer less useful?
A case presents a business with particular resources, customers and constraints. A general advantage may matter differently to a small firm and a large one. Ask the learner to explain why a point matters to the business in the question, rather than attach its name to a memorised sentence.
Separate evidence from assumptions. A stated cash shortage is evidence; a prediction of future sales needs a reason. The student should make that reasoning visible and avoid treating a possible outcome as certain.
How can a simple expansion case help?
Imagine a practice case in which a small shop considers buying equipment to produce more goods. The equipment may raise capacity, but the shop has limited cash and uncertain demand. An answer should examine whether additional output is likely to sell and how the purchase affects available funds.
Ask what further information would help: equipment cost, expected demand or financing terms, for example. A recommendation can then refer to the objective and constraints. This develops a decision supported by the case instead of assuming that expansion is always beneficial.
What should Business tuition teach?
The tutor can model selecting evidence, applying a concept and developing a consequence. Then ask the learner to compare an alternative and justify a recommendation when the question requires one. A changed case should make the student reconsider the decision.
The 2027 G3 Business syllabus includes application to a given business, analysis of information and evidence-based recommendations. Paper 2 is a case-study paper. Definitions therefore support the response, while the case supplies the context that makes the reasoning relevant.
How can parents review progress?
Use a fresh case and ask your child to explain one recommendation independently. Look for a relevant fact, a clear consequence and a conclusion consistent with the evidence. The amount of writing is less informative than the quality of that connection.
Confirm provider availability and school eligibility before enrolling. In a 3-pax group, ask how each learner will draft a response before shared discussion. Agree on the specific skill to review so follow-up work addresses application rather than repeating every definition.
