1. What Is the Actual Class Size?

Ask for the number, not only the label “small group”. The relevant question is whether the tutor can see enough of each student’s solution process to identify where reasoning first breaks.

2. Does the Programme Diagnose Before Assigning More Work?

A wrong Mathematics answer can come from concept knowledge, interpretation, representation, method selection, calculation or checking. A good programme should distinguish these before prescribing more practice.

3. Are Solution Steps Visible?

If tutors look only at final answers, they may miss the earliest wrong move. Students should explain quantities, representations and method choices often enough for the tutor to see the process.

4. Is Feedback Retested?

Understanding a correction immediately is not enough. The programme should return to the skill later, change the surface and test whether the student can still recognise and apply the method independently.

6. Is the Weekly Workload Sustainable?

Count lesson time, travel, homework, school work and recovery. More Mathematics is useful only while the total workload still supports careful thinking.

7. Is the Location Claim Accurate?

Parents should confirm the actual teaching location and timetable rather than infer a branch from a search phrase. A local tuition page should make physical reality clear.

8. Are Claims Proportionate?

No centre can responsibly guarantee a particular examination grade for every student. A stronger programme explains its teaching process, evidence and review points.
