What this page represented in 2015
The original post was a short PSLE tuition advertisement aimed at Pasir Ris families. It reflected an earlier period when eduKate published location-based service pages across several parts of Singapore.
The page contained little educational explanation and relied mainly on photographs plus a broad statement about nurturing curiosity and combining curriculum with wider life skills.
That history is preserved here, but the old advertisement has been retired from current-service use.
Why the URL is being preserved
Deleting an old service URL can erase useful history and break links that have existed for years. Leaving it untouched creates a different problem: readers and search engines may assume that a 2015 service claim is still current.
The better repair is to give the page a new, precise job:
- preserve the historical record;
- retain the publication date and URL;
- keep surviving photographs where useful;
- state clearly that the service information is historical;
- route present-day tuition intent to current eduKatePunggol pages.

What remains educationally relevant
The original article said that a child’s development reflects both nature and nurture and that education should encourage curiosity rather than only syllabus compliance. Those ideas remain useful when expressed more carefully.
Good tuition should help a student:
- understand what is currently weak;
- repair missing prerequisites;
- practise with feedback;
- ask better questions;
- build enough independence to need less external control over time.
Those principles are now explained in current eduKatePunggol educational pages rather than attached to an outdated Pasir Ris service claim.
Why this page should not compete with later Pasir Ris pages
eduKatePunggol later published more specific Pasir Ris English and Science pages. This 2015 URL no longer needs to compete with those subject-specific articles—or with present-day Punggol tuition pages—for the same broad service intent.
Its role is now historical. Later subject pages can own their own subject-specific reader jobs when they are upgraded in sequence.
Current eduKatePunggol structure
Current eduKatePunggol public information describes small-group tuition with a maximum of three students, 1.5-hour lessons, provided learning materials and between-lesson WhatsApp support.
Current subject coverage includes Primary 1–6 English and Mathematics, Primary 3–6 Science, Secondary 1–4 English and Mathematics, and Secondary 3–4 Additional Mathematics.
