Splash at Kidz Amaze Punggol in 2027 | SAFRA Tickets, Swimwear and Sam Kee LRT

Exterior view of SAFRA Punggol in Singapore.

Splash at Kidz Amaze is the indoor water playground at SAFRA Punggol, 9 Sentul Crescent. Take the Punggol LRT to Sam Kee or walk from Punggol MRT if the weather and your group suit the extra walk. SAFRA currently operates ordinary play admission on a walk-in, first-come basis. Check the day’s opening hours, any closure notice and the Punggol price row before leaving, especially on a school holiday or weekend.

Pack swimwear, towels and dry clothes for everyone who will get wet, and swim diapers for children who need them. SAFRA describes a separate toddler wading area as well as slides and connected play decks. Choose where to start based on your children’s comfort and the feature rules. Budget for accompanying adults and a locker as well as each child’s admission.

  • Go to SAFRA Punggol at 9 Sentul Crescent. Sam Kee is the nearby LRT stop.
  • Walk-in admission depends on capacity. Check official opening notices before travelling.
  • Use the Splash Punggol price row for children and adults. Member, guest and day categories can differ.
  • Bring your own towels and approved wet-play clothing, plus a swim diaper where required.
  • Start with the toddler wading area for a gentler introduction and check posted rules before using slides.

Know the venue and get there from Sam Kee

Put the full venue name in your map

Use Splash at Kidz Amaze, SAFRA Punggol, 9 Sentul Crescent, Singapore 828654. The full name is useful because Punggol has several water play and swim venues within a short distance. A map search for Punggol water play can point to another facility with different admission and equipment rules. When you share the plan with relatives, put the address and the word Splash in the same message.

From Punggol MRT, follow the signs to the Punggol LRT and check the route serving Sam Kee. Use the live station information to choose the right platform and direction. At Sam Kee, follow signs and use the public paths towards SAFRA. Allow time for the lift and final walk if you have a stroller, a large wet bag or two children who need help at transitions.

SAFRA has also described a walk of about ten minutes from Punggol MRT in its visitor directions for an event at the club. Use that as a rough guide, with extra time for stops, crossings or a slower walker. A family that enjoys a short walk can go directly from Punggol MRT. Sam Kee is a practical option when you want to reduce outdoor walking or meet someone close to the venue.

Decide how the group will arrive and return

For a party arriving from several directions, make the Splash counter or a clearly named public spot at SAFRA the shared destination. A child who is already in swimwear under their clothes may be keen to go straight in. It helps to agree that the adults will check admission and change together after everyone has arrived. If someone is running late, send a simple plan for where they should go.

Save the return route as well. If you arrive by LRT, decide whether to use Sam Kee again or walk to Punggol MRT after food. A meal near SAFRA or One Punggol can work when the group has time. If someone has booked a car or is picking you up, confirm the collection point and the path from the building with all your bags.

Weather can change between your arrival and departure. Keep something dry in a separate compartment and allow a few minutes after changing before walking outside. If it is raining, use the shortest comfortable route to your next stop. The water playground is indoors, while the full journey may include open sections.

Walk-in admission, hours and the cost of a family visit

Confirm the day category and opening hours

SAFRA currently lists regular Punggol hours of 1 pm to 7 pm on ordinary weekdays, 10 am to 7 pm on weekday school holidays and 10 am to 9 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Check the official listing for your 2027 date. SAFRA posts temporary notices for maintenance and special arrangements, so a venue’s normal weekly schedule is only the first check.

The standard play visit is walk-in and depends on available capacity. SAFRA’s FAQ says advance reservations are unnecessary for ordinary admission. If you are travelling far or considering a busy holiday afternoon, call the outlet to ask about current capacity. A phone enquiry can tell you about the conditions at that moment. Give yourself an alternative if the playground fills before you arrive.

A party booking, field trip or group arrangement has separate terms. Use the specific SAFRA enquiry route if you are organising a party or planning for a large group. For two households meeting for ordinary play, plan around the walk-in process and the combined cost of all the children and adults. Everyone can decide in advance whether to wait if there is a queue.

Read the Punggol row and count the whole party

At the time of checking, SAFRA’s published Splash Punggol rate card showed guest child admission of S$19 off-peak and S$23 peak, and adult admission of S$5. Kidz Amaze member child rates were S$11 and S$14 respectively. SAFRA member child rates were S$15 and S$18. Use the latest published card to check the numbers again, including the applicable membership and how the day is classified.

For example, two guest children and two adults would total S$48 at those off-peak rates or S$56 at those peak rates, before a locker, transport or food. That example assumes both children are charged as guests and both adults enter. If a child has a membership or qualifies for a different category, confirm how SAFRA applies it and calculate again.

The rate card lists peak periods as weekends, public holidays and school holidays. An ordinary-looking Tuesday during a school break can therefore cost more and open earlier than a Tuesday during term. For a family comparing dates, check both the operating hours and the price category. If saving money matters, compare the complete outing cost rather than the child price alone.

What to pack for Splash

Give every swimmer a dry set

Bring approved wet-play clothing, a towel and a dry set of clothes for each person who will use the water area. SAFRA lists swimwear or suitable 100% polyester tops and bottoms for wet play. It also says it does not supply towels or swimwear. If you are unsure about an item of clothing, ask the outlet before the visit so you have time to choose another garment.

For children who are not toilet trained, bring the swimming diapers required by SAFRA. Its water playground guidance excludes standard diapers from the pool. Pack more than one if the visit will span a change. Keep the fresh diapers away from the wet bag and carry the usual supplies for a change after swimming. Confirm anything you need to buy at the counter before relying on that option.

A simple bag arrangement helps when several people need to change at once. Put dry clothes for each person in a separate labelled pouch. Keep towels near the top and a waterproof bag ready for wet garments. Store any phone, wallet or keys where you can take them out before changing and put them away securely. Use only the items you need to carry into the play area under the posted rules.

Include a locker and leave room in the bag

SAFRA’s water playground information lists electronic lockers in the changing rooms. At the time of checking, it listed S$2 for a medium locker and S$4 for a large one, with contactless card payment or specified cash accepted. Check the current instructions at the venue. If your group has several large bags, decide what needs to go in the locker and whether one will fit.

Before putting things away, keep out what you will need during the session under venue rules. Ask staff if you are uncertain where to put a required item. Avoid repeatedly unpacking the whole locker while children wait. A child who can manage their own dry clothes can still benefit from a pouch that is easy to identify.

When changing after play, start with whichever child needs help first and put their wet items away before taking out the next dry set. Check the changing area for belongings before leaving. Keep the wet bag accessible until you have collected everyone’s towels and swimwear. A few minutes of organisation here can make the meal and ride home more comfortable.

What toddlers and older children can do

Let a toddler start in the wading area

SAFRA describes a separate wading area for toddlers. That gives a family a gentler starting point before looking at the larger structures. Spend a moment seeing how your child responds to the room, the sound and the water. An indoor water playground can still be loud and busy. Let the child get used to the conditions without asking them to try a slide straight away.

Stay with your child and follow the venue’s supervision and safety instructions. If they want to move to another area, check that the feature is suitable and see what the posted signs require. A child can have a good outing just by becoming more comfortable in the wading area. Give them a choice between two appropriate activities and let the day end when they are ready.

Some children like to watch a sibling before deciding what to do. Choose a position where the adult can supervise and everyone has space. If your child needs a break, move to an appropriate area as directed. Check with the venue about any individual requirements you have before arriving, including access for a child or adult who needs assistance.

Look at the feature rules with older children

SAFRA describes five slides and eight interconnected play decks. Look for the rules at each feature rather than assuming every route has the same conditions. A child should use a slide or structure only when it is open and they meet the posted requirements. Staff can help explain where to begin or which route a child is eligible to use.

Agree with older children where they will find you between activities. Keep the meeting point within the appropriate area and follow staff instructions about supervision. If there are two supervising adults, agree which child each adult is watching when siblings want different parts of the playground. A handover works best when both adults know exactly who is responsible.

Give the child enough time to repeat a favourite activity. Some children want to try every feature, while others enjoy returning to the same area once they know how it works. Use their energy and comfort to judge the length of the visit. A clear final activity can make the transition to changing easier than announcing the end from across the room.

Work out the full family budget before joining the queue

A weekday, weekend and member example

Using the published figures at the time of checking, a guest child and one adult would pay S$24 off-peak or S$28 peak for ordinary admission. Add a S$2 medium locker and the same example becomes S$26 or S$30 before transport, food or any items purchased at the counter. Those examples are useful for comparing days. Recalculate from the official Punggol rate card for your actual visit.

For a child eligible for the published SAFRA member rate, one adult and one child would total S$20 off-peak or S$23 peak before a locker. At the published Kidz Amaze member rate, the corresponding totals would be S$16 and S$19. Check whose membership is needed and what proof the counter accepts. A membership rate advertised for one visitor or outlet should be applied only to the person and venue it covers.

The official fee page also lists free admission for a child below two months old at the Punggol outlet. Treat that as a fee category. Speak to the outlet about entry, facilities and what is appropriate for your family if bringing an infant. A baby who is coming along with older siblings and a baby whose caregiver intends to use the water area create different planning needs.

Decide who will enter the paid area

Agree which adults will enter and who is supervising each child before paying. If a grandparent or another adult is joining the meal only, arrange a meeting point outside the playground. SAFRA’s FAQ says adults entering require valid admission and describes adult entries as non-transferable. Ask about any arrangement you need rather than assuming you can pass an admission from one caregiver to another.

When two families are sharing an outing, compare the cost and timing for each family on the same day. One may have a membership while the other pays the guest rate. Each can plan their own admission and agree on a shared meal budget. If you need to delay for a late arrival, decide whether everyone will wait outside or whether one family will check admission first. That prevents a seating or food plan from depending on an uncertain entry time.

Decide whether a second stop belongs in the budget

The trip can end after the swim and changing routine. If you are planning another activity at SAFRA or a meal at One Punggol, price that separately and check its hours. A family coming mainly for Splash may prefer a quick meal and the train. A family celebrating a birthday may want a longer outing, in which case it helps to put the paid play session first and let everyone decide how much time and money to spend afterwards.

An easy way to compare plans is to write down three figures: admission for the whole party, locker or equipment costs, and food or transport. Do it once for your preferred day and once for the nearest ordinary weekday that suits you. The result may show a small saving for changing dates or a larger difference for a group with several children. Use the total along with the children’s routines and travel time to pick the visit.

Plan a visit that fits meals, changing and travel

A short first visit with a younger child

Aim to arrive with enough time to check admission, change without rushing and take a brief look around before deciding what to do. Make the first play period manageable. Leave space for a break and time to change afterwards. A young child may be ready to leave before the rest of the party has explored every area. That is easy to accommodate if lunch or the train journey already has a place in the plan.

If the trip crosses a usual nap or meal, decide which comes first. On a weekday in term, the listed opening is in the afternoon. Lunch before arriving can make that timing easier. On a weekend or school holiday with an earlier opening, a family might play first and eat afterwards. Check the actual hours and think about when your child usually handles a new environment best.

Give a child a simple picture of the sequence: arrive, change, play, change again and eat or go home. Talk about the final change before entering so it is familiar when the child is tired. Keep a dry top and towel easy to reach. It is easier to finish well when the rest of the outing has been planned around the play time.

A half-day for siblings or two families

With siblings or friends, budget time for the slowest arrival and changing routine. If the party meets at the venue, leave a margin for someone who has to wait for a lift or needs a few minutes to settle a younger child. Choose an initial activity that all the children can do under the venue rules. Then make a choice about splitting up within the appropriate supervision arrangements.

Set a rough time for leaving so the group can plan food and transport. SAFRA’s FAQ currently describes unlimited play time for standard admissions. The venue’s closing time, your children’s energy and practical needs still determine a comfortable length. Ask about any re-entry arrangements before relying on leaving for lunch and coming back in.

If everyone will have lunch together, agree where it will be. SAFRA Punggol lists dining outlets at the club, and One Punggol can be a separate stop nearby. Check the opening hours and give yourself time to get all the children dry before moving on. If the weather or queues make a second stop awkward, choose the quickest suitable meal or go straight home.

Decide what to do if it is busy or closed

Check the notice before leaving home

Start with the official Splash and Kidz Amaze pages for hours and special notices. If your child has been looking forward to it for several days, explain that entry depends on capacity. Pick a second activity before setting off. A verified indoor stop near Sam Kee or a meal with a short walk can still give the trip a purpose if the playground is unavailable.

If you arrive to a queue, ask staff how admission works and decide how long your group wants to wait. Keep dry clothes and food plans in mind. A family that has already had lunch may be able to wait comfortably. A child who is tired or hungry may prefer the backup immediately. Give the group a clear decision point so you can move together.

If the venue is closed, read the notice for the next opening rather than inferring it from the usual hours. Ask about rescheduling directly if you had a special group arrangement. For ordinary walk-in play, choose a new date based on the current opening pattern and the time that works for the children.

Use One Punggol as a separate stop

One Punggol has its own facilities and opening arrangements. Check which one you want if you are using it as a backup or meal stop. A library visit can suit a family that needs a quieter activity, while a meal works well if the group came from several directions. Confirm the relevant hours and leave enough time for the journey home.

If you want another water outing on a later date, compare what you actually need. Splash offers indoor wet play with its own rules and charges. A public outdoor play area or a swimming pool has a different purpose and admission setup. Put the exact venue name in your plan and use that venue’s guidance for clothing, supervision and opening details.

Make the trip easier for your group

The first solo parent visit

Bring one manageable bag and set out with a short visit in mind. Go directly to the counter, check which facilities you need and ask for help with directions before changing. If you have two children, explain the order in which you will get ready and use the parts of the venue where you can supervise them both according to the rules.

Decide the meal or return plan while the group is still dry. If the children are happy and the outing is running smoothly, you can extend it later. If one child becomes tired or overwhelmed, keep the next step simple. You already know where the dry clothes are and whether you are leaving by Sam Kee or another route.

A useful check before you pay

Check the charges for the people who are entering and the locker size you need. Confirm the current swimwear and diaper rules, especially if this is the first visit for someone in the party. Ask whether any features your child is looking forward to are unavailable. Use those answers to make the decision together before you go through to change.

At the end, ask the children which part they would want to try again. That can tell you more about the next trip than the number of slides they used. A toddler may have liked the gentler area and an older sibling may want another turn on a particular slide. Use their answers and the experience of getting there to plan the next visit.
