Bring a clean, reusable food container and your own utensils if you plan to get takeaway at Foodgle Hub in SIT Punggol. The National Environment Agency says SIT’s Punggol food courts do not provide disposable takeaway containers or utensils. Foodgle Hub is at Campus Court, Block E4.
NEA also describes a Green Takeaway rental service for reusable containers. If you arrive without a box, ask before ordering whether a rental is available to you that day and where it must be returned. If you are leaving Punggol Coast straight after lunch, bringing your own box avoids a return trip.
- Destination: Foodgle Hub, SIT Punggol Campus, Block E4.
- Pack: A clean food box with a lid, utensils and a bag that keeps the box upright.
- Ask before paying: Can this dish go in your box, and do you need a separate cup or container?
- If you forget the box: Check rental availability or plan to dine in.
Find Foodgle Hub at Block E4

SIT lists Foodgle Hub in Campus Court. Follow the university’s Foodgle Hub stall listing and visitor map to Block E4, especially if you are coming through Punggol Coast Mall and several campus paths appear to lead the same way.
SIT lists the food court hours as 7.30 am to 7.30 pm on weekdays and 8.30 am to 7.30 pm on weekends and public holidays. Individual stalls may follow different hours, so have a second dish in mind if you are arriving late or making a special trip.
Pack for the meal you will actually order

For a rice dish, a wide box makes it easier to add sides without overfilling it. If you expect soup, bring a separate container designed to hold liquid with a secure lid. For a drink, bring a clean cup with a lid and ask the stall before placing the order.
Hand over the container before the stall starts serving. For two orders that look similar, tell the stall which box is for which dish. If you will be carrying lunch on the train, close the lids at the counter, check the outside of each box for drips and pack the containers upright.
What to ask if you need a rental container
The NEA campaign annex describing SIT’s food court scheme describes reusable containers offered on a rental basis. Ask whether you can borrow one as a visitor, whether there is a fee or deposit, where to return it, and when the return point closes. Confirm those details before deciding whether takeaway fits your journey.
For example, if you are visiting E4 between a campus event and a train home, check the return instructions before borrowing. If you cannot fit in the return, eating at the food court may be the simpler option.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy takeaway for a group with one box?
Ask the stall what fits. For multiple meals, separate containers make it easier to keep orders apart and carry them level.
Do the opening hours guarantee the stall I want will be open?
No. SIT publishes the food court’s hours on the E4 page. Check the stall when you arrive and allow time to choose a different meal.
Where is the other SIT food court?
Wholesome by Food Canopy is at Campus Heart, Block W3. The SIT Punggol food courts guide compares the two locations.
