To register an infant for the Childminding Pilot, ECDA directs eligible parents to contact an appointed operator. The official operator information is available through ECDA’s pilot webpage.
Punggol parents should ask the operator whether it serves their required area and has a suitable arrangement for their dates. This guide does not confirm a childminder or available place in Punggol.
Before accepting an offer, clarify the caregiver, setting, timetable, fees and terms. An enquiry or expression of interest is different from a confirmed booking.
In this guide
CHAPTER 1 OF 3
Start from the official operator information
Use ECDA’s registration FAQ and its link to the Childminding Pilot information page.
Check that you are speaking to an appointed operator about the pilot rather than assuming that any provider using the word “childminding” belongs to it.
CHAPTER 2 OF 3
Send a focused enquiry
Provide the infant’s age, intended care dates, location and hours needed. Ask what the operator requires to assess eligibility and what information should be submitted through its official process.
Keep sensitive documents out of public parent groups. Confirm the recipient and submission channel before sending personal information.
CHAPTER 3 OF 3
Confirm what has been agreed
Ask how a booking becomes confirmed, what payment is required and which cancellation terms apply. Request the details of any arrangement offered as an alternative to the pilot.
Keep a record of the schedule, contact person and outstanding questions. The published registration guidance does not set a guaranteed matching time or waiting period.
Information checked on 18 October 2026. Confirm current eligibility, availability, fees and booking terms with the appointed operator.
