If you are returning home to Punggol with overseas purchases that require duty or GST payment, use Singapore Customs’ Customs@SG guidance. The web service allows advance declaration and payment up to three days before arrival.
Keep purchase receipts and identify all the goods you are bringing back before declaring. Check the official duty-free concession and GST import-relief rules for your circumstances instead of assuming every personal purchase is exempt.
After successful payment, keep the Customs e-receipt available. The service does not cover every import: controlled goods require the relevant authority’s licence, permit or authorisation and the appropriate declaration arrangements.

Organise the purchases
Keep the item descriptions and receipts together while travelling. Separate what you bought from what another traveller bought so your record is clear.
Do not leave the checking task until bags are packed and receipts have been discarded. A small purchase folder is easier to use than trying to reconstruct several days of shopping from bank notifications.

Check whether the service applies
Read the Customs@SG restrictions before entering the declaration. Paying tax through a web service is not a substitute for permission to bring in a regulated item.
Where there is uncertainty, ask Customs or the relevant authority before travelling with the item. Avoid treating an online seller’s shipping claim as an answer to Singapore’s import requirements.

Finish payment and retain the receipt
A saved draft is not a completed payment. Customs explains that receipts or drafts can be retrieved using the declaration number and email address.
Open the e-receipt on your device before you arrive, and keep the original purchase records available. Check the declared arrival details as well as the goods recorded.

Handle changes through the official route
If extra goods were not included, approach the Customs Tax Payment Office to declare and pay for them. If the arrival date changes, Customs directs travellers to seek assistance with the e-receipt and airline notification documents.
Keep this separate from your SG Arrival Card submission. The two services address different parts of returning to Singapore, and neither should be assumed to complete the other.
